If you had to have one and only one. Which one would you choose? Manga Quote: Pro: -Portable -can be used as weapon -shows emotion better -better poses Con: -Black and White -Not animated, dun move -costs a lot xp Anime Quote: Pro: -color -it moves! -cheap Con: -Hard to rewatch -uhhh...

Right now I am more intrested in manga than I am anime. There simply is not any anime that screams out for me to buy it. The anime I do like are either on tv or fan subtitled.

A choice between manga and anime? ;-; You have to be kiiidddiing.. ::whine::
To tell the truth, I'd pick manga. ^^; Cheaper to buy, easier to make, longer plots, Nakuru in a yukata (x_x ::was so irrationally irritated when she never even showed up at the festival in the CCS anime:: ).. I do like to watch anime and its shiny colorfulness, though, so I'd be upset to only get one or the other.
Wait.. o_O Manga costs a lot and anime's cheap? ^_^; Oh, maybe, if you think of fansubs.. but you can also find scans of manga... plus, there ARE color inserts every now and then in manga..

It honestly depends on what the title is... Some anime drawings are really bad, while others are really good. Manga is the same, although i like the drawing style better... I'd have to say i perfer manga. The thing i don't like about manga and anime is the prince domokun

I would probably chose manga. For the most part I like manga better than anime, though there are a few exceptions.

Manga. Tis easier on the wallet and (usually) is better than anime (storyline wise, if it has an anime that is based on it).
Plus, I've always been a book worm.

Wow, it seems like a lot of us prefer manga...
There's a loooot of work that goes into anime, you know ;-; The cost's for a reason.. ::glomps anime, even though she said manga herself::
Really, I'll take either anime or manga, they're both good xD

Yeah I used to love anime more than manga but then I disscovered this.
In InuYasha volume 3 The Yoh Mask demon was this killing Machine that was hidious with like 20 arms and 200 legs but then in the anime the very same part this Yoh Mask demon was only a blob he/she wasn't a hidious Monster but a pretty monster... eek
In volume 4 InuYasha the demon brother apeared but in the anime...the demon brothers were fighting inuYasha before the Yoh Mask demon did.
ok here is the Major differences
the anime Publishers always ruin awesome Manga and people ususally don't notice it either they say they made it better.
it completely ruined this Masterpeice.
Manga.
Yho mask- Volume 3, Thunder Brothers- Volume 4
Anime.
Thunder Brother Vs. InuYasha, Yoh Mask Vs. InuYasha
Manga is always better because it gives the original story.

You have a point, but I can't think of any manga that came from anime instead of vice versa, besides like those weird Cardcaptors cinematic novels (which are redundant already, since it was originally a manga) and the Spirited Away stuff o_O
