The courtyard is the first thing you see once you pass the wards set up to keep Ironsiders away. It is a strange medley of tame garden and wild forest, yet somehow it is fitting. The courtyard is a lush paradise of scents, sights, and sounds through which the Court Fae walk. From the courtyard you can see what can, with a loosening of the term, be called a castle. In reality, it is a series of copses, richly decorated both with glamour and with real objects. Above the trees rise three stone spires, the only things in the area that look as though they have no been made by nature. Below the castle, there is a darker reality, but that is a story for another location.
The courtyard is a place where the Court Fae can rest and relax. In other, more OOC terms, this is where your character will be found if he or she has no other permanent location and you are not posting them anywhere else.
