The Starting Point!
If you were a newcomer about to enter the Township a creaky sign would greet you with the word 'Arcadil' spread across its wooden frame in bold black letters. It's not a very large community, but quite a cozy one that rests at the bottom of Cania Valley.
The valley itself is quite peaceful with a river running along its center, the north side of its slanted walls lead to the Tohopka Forest that seems to circle around the valley ridges to the cliff wall that towers at the south; it could almost seem as if the forest itself is protecting the outside world from the view of the valley, one glancing over the cliff wall would see, however, just how thick the forest is. To the east the valley walls close; though the river seems to gush into a dark cave, one no villagers would dare to tread into. At the west end of the valley a dirt road leads out to further towns.
Arcadil's streets all branch off from the center point of the town square, which holds a fountain and many benches for sitting; occasionally a peddler will come and sell his goods here. There are five main buildings; Town hall, The Sheriff Station, The Library, Doctor's House, and the Tohopka Nursery. Most of the architecture in the town is grey or brown brick, the townhouses also have a mix of wood. All merchant activity seems to be done by travellers and caravans.
