So, okay, I realized several of us are con-goers and thought, wtf? We gotta liven up this guild, for one, and TWO, now we have a place SPECIFICALLY to talk about which cons each of us attend and maybe meet up with one another!
PseudoKai, NeoAkuma and I all met IRL at Kumoricon '05, so dun' scoff! It's very possible you'll meet a fellow guildee at a con!
And don't you want to be prepared?
SO this brand-spanking new thread is just for chattin' about your con experiences, cons you want to attend, cons you KNOW you'll atend and all that jazz!
HOWEVER, do remember we have a specific thread for cosplay so post your pictures in THERE :3
Sound like fun? If the thread doesn't work, I'll just delete, but wtf, I thought it was a goood idea!!!

I wil be @ Kumoricon 2006 - Portland, OR September 2-4 http://kumoricon.com/AND Sakuracon 2007 - Seattle, WA April 6-8 http://sakuracon.comFor both I plan to do my demon nurse cosplay as WELL as the Eternal Sailor Saturn costume I designed a while back!

I just started doing cosplays this year, but I plan to be attending Icon every year since it's the only one I can reach right now.
Icon 2007 (located at Stoney Brook University, NY (long island to be specific)) It goes for 3 days in March (second or last weekend)
i'll be going as Jill Valentine on friday (as a giant RE cosplay, see my thread for details XD)
Maria Renard from Castlevania Symphony of the Night (me and my buddies are doin a Castlevania cosplay)
and on sunday I plan to dress as Fuu Hououji from Magic Knight Rayearth.

Damn. I wanna throw together a new costume SO badly......this time around, as Mask de Smith. I thought of this way before I played Killer 7, but now I wanna do it even more so....

Felix the Helix Everyone gets to go to cons except ME! scream I'll have to throw my own here in this miserable hole. Of course, that's a lot of planning and organization...blargh! Don't feel bad Felix. The only (comic)cons I've been to ended up being in some dark, cramped VFW halls, and the one at an actual expo center was a Cat Show... needless to say, I didn't dress up as anything to that one. Maybe someday I won't have other plans on the weekend of a decent Conention, but the way things have been going lately, that won't happen for quite some time...

Hrm......Me and my buddy have been thinkin'....of trying to pull off a weird little project for some random con that we've yet to decide on.......
Y'see we're thinking of trying to pull off a group cosplay based on Killer 7. I already decided on being Mask de Smith awhiles back, before I even played the game, just because he looks cool and wears a mask (I'm shy about showing me real face ;>>) and a friend of mine (while being kinda short) could pull of Dan Smith pretty easily.......so.....myes......*shrugs* just throwing that out there in case anyone's interested for something coo' and funky in a year or so ;>>
