Isnt anyone else upset that Family Guy got to go on for more seasons and Futurama was left behind? Now dont get me wrong I do like Family Guy but I also want to see more episodes of Futurama. Who else thinks it is unfair that Futurama was not picked back up?

Futurama has a niche following. Unlike The Simpsons or Family Guy it's set in a different time zone so people can't identify with it that well. When Futurama was first shown here in the UK, my main complaint was that I couldn't identify with what was happening. Now that I'm a bit older I pick up on the little references that are made. Family Guy doesn't have that problem as it's instantly accessabile, which is something it shares with The Simpsons. Ther have been rumours that Futurama is going to go back into production though...

Well then I dont think that Star Trex would have work with the time zone setting's but that did. I just dont think that it go as many people watch it as they hoped they would.
It would be awesome if they could bring it back but I dont think they will they were just having talks awhile ago about closing down The Simpsons but they pick back up for another 2 years. I just dont see them picking up this show and having it on for another 5+ years thou. As sad as that might be but what I was asking if people are upset over Futurama not being picked up again is all ^_^

Fox treats is Sci-Fi like crap. Futurama, Farscape and Firefly are all examples of this.
I was very upset about Futurama being cancelled, it's such a great show. And they can do so many more jokes in it than they could with the Simpsons. I've heard rumours of it coming back (and a movie), so let's hope they're true.

Yeh I love futurama.. I sort of like it a little more then I like the simpsons, for the fact it is a bit more older

the hidden ghost Fox treats is Sci-Fi like crap. Futurama, Farscape and Firefly are all examples of this. I was very upset about Futurama being cancelled, it's such a great show. I think the only show that was ever treated well in terms of Sci-Fi on Fox was The X-Files before Mulder was taken away thou but other than that yes those show dont seem to last on there. Hence The Lone Gunman.
I heard that they were talking about Futurama coming back but I have never heard of a movie for it. That would be awesome if they had a movie! But ever awesome would the show be coming back that would work just great!

I love Futurama... but honestly I'm not sure if it SHOULD be picked back up...
because if it where to come back and not be as great... it would let down a lot of fans and thus ruin the entire show for me... I mean it was good while it lasted and I'm willing to let it go if it means preserving how great is WAS...

Your completely right. I like futurama more than family guy. And the new episodes of family guy arent as good as they were too.
