Once known as Frieza #79, the planet became Kuriza #1 when the heir to Frieza's legacy, Kuriza renamed it so. As all the other planets of Frieza's empire had fallen, this became the only one that remained. Once a training planet for Frieza's elite soldiers, it now is the whole base of the newly forming Kuriza empire.
