Originally named New Namek, for there was once a planet named Namek before this one. The Namekians eventually choose to just call this planet Namek for there being no point to always say "New Namek". Namek is the home of the Namekians, a race of green skinned beings of great power. A beautiful planet, with lush vegetation. Namek is a peaceful planet, but the Namekians fight when their is trouble. Namek is also the location for the last existing set of dragonballs.
