I'll start off small. Let's talk about our history in Mortal Kombat, like what was your first MK, and what attracted you to the game, things like that.

My first MK game ever owned was Mortal Kombat: Shaolin Monks. Of course, it was typically the only game that didn't really follow the storyline for much that the characters did was uncanning, however it was still a very good game. A whole new style to the MK world. Besides, if one does all the Smoke missions, then you can unlock the original Mortal Kombat II, but you can't get smoke in that one.

mine was Mk 2 on the SNES ( i think thats the right system) now those were some good games back then.

My first was MK3 for the Genesis. It was my first game since upgrading to 16-Bit from SNES, so to me, the graphics looked so amazing, I was... Well, simply amazed. Damn, if I went back to replay it now, it wouldn't have the same charm... But I still do for the nostalgia.

MK2 for the Snes. Got addicted... I was a youngin... I'm 19 now but I got it for my birthday. My grandma got it for me. I noticed it had a label on it that say... something like 13 and older (It was before ESRB... I still have the box lol) I made fun of my grandma for getting me something that can have serious damaging effects on my life. Like wanting to burn people alive lmao.
I now work in a restaruant where I deal with fire all the time twisted

I was about 9 when I got my MK3 I think. And I taught my mom to play it and it sometimes got to the point where she beat me. She was a pro with Cyrax and especially Smoke.

wooty, not all of your are amatures.... the first game in teh series i ever played was Mortal Kombat.... yes, i am a vetran when it comes to games...
but yeah, the first Mortal Kombat was the coolest fighter of it's time. it broke the barriers by actually showing the blood that comes when some one gets one or more times then is healthy. it got me hooked.

it_landry wooty, not all of your are amatures.... the first game in teh series i ever played was Mortal Kombat.... yes, i am a vetran when it comes to games... but yeah, the first Mortal Kombat was the coolest fighter of it's time. it broke the barriers by actually showing the blood that comes when some one gets one or more times then is healthy. it got me hooked. Sweet that was your first one too! sweetness, I think that was easyly the best MK there was, I loved bein' scorpion cause' his moves where so easy and I was so young sooo, hell yea, ummm and I guess I awnsered which was my first, you know, I wish someone lived close and we could play.... crying

Mine was MK4 for the N64. Then I saw the movie, THEN I was hooked!

my first was on the genesis but it was hard to do the friendship koves so don't have to destroy your opponent if only the uppercuts were still that powerful i lked the woods i forget the namme because the guy would come out to clip someone yellin woopsy
