The Nintendo DS is perfectly capable of running Arena and Daggerfall. It would probably need a seperate memory card but thats ok we've got the GBA cartridge slot for that and Metroid pinball's rumble pack proves the two slots can interface. So how bout it people would you like to see Arena or even a brand new TES game on DS?

I have to say, that would be cool.
But think of the loading times and how frequent they will be.

He's right, the frequent loading times would make the game fall into well, pure s**t. But besides that, if you could find a way around it, it would be an awesome addition to the series to have the old games on handheld.

But the graphics would suck as well. Morrowind on DS? Someone whos played it on computer or XBOX starts playing it on DS would lose intrest quickly at the frequent loading screens and poor graphics.

We arn't talking elder scrolls, daggerfall and arena are low graphic games, if anything DS would make them look even better.

An Elder Scrolls game is on mobie phones...Though it would be alot better on maybe the DS. The touch screen could be helpful.

There is not a chance in hell that I would buy that. Not only would I kill myself if Bethesda sold themselves out to Nintendo, but i shudder at the thoughts of what they would do to any Elder Scrolls game. It would be so toned down, that it wouldnt even be fun anymore. Nintendo isn't capable of making good games, I don't care what anyone says; If they got their grimey hands on TES, they'd do a bad job with it, end of story. And end of rant 3nodding
Oh...and dont take offence to that, I just dont like Nintendo...I should have said that first <_<. So yeah, Just my oppinion sweatdrop

A DS is truly amazing. Animal Crossing (which I'm now obsessed with) has the same graphics from what I've seen both on Gamecube and the DS. So it's capable of handling pretty good graphics and data (since Animal Crossing's probably a really big game too...
So...I dunno about Morrowind being on a DS...but that might be possible.
Unfortunately, I think Bethesda's only making their games for X-box and PC...right? sweatdrop

My point was about Arena and Daggerfall being able to run on a DS not Morrowind, and if anybody thinks Bethesda publishing on Nintendo would be selling out (Yea right Ninty are the one and only) Think how you'll feel when you hear that Oblivion is probably going to end up being a PS3 launch title, now that WILL be lame. Anyway back to my initial point, TES Arena and Daggerfall would work brilliantly on DS, think about lockpicking oblivion style but using the touch screen, or using speechcraft or anything else like that, the DS can only make TES games good.

My initial point was for a port of Arena or Daggerfall however to stick to topic a low poly port of morrowind is probably possible. That's be damn cool.

Well...I'm starting to think this thread isn't vaild.
If this were the Elder Scrolls Guild, yes it would be. But this is Morrowind we're supposed to be talking about...not the other Elder Scrolls games. neutral

hey I'm trying to get it on to morrowind by saying a low poly port would work. They'd have to slim the graphics down a LOT but it WOULD work and I'd LOVE to have morrowind on the move. Come on somebody agree with me so Taylor doesn't lock my first ever Gaia thread lol.

To late, I love the idea, but I agree with Taylor. This thread has gone far off topic. So to save Taylor the trouble of doing the job, I shall lock this for our Queen. heart
