Hello everyone!
Well, this is a weird position for me, asking for help. But I'd really like your opinion on this.
My friend has recently had a few experiences. She was lying in bed, listening to music as she always does, and just jumped, for no reason. A bit later, when she was trying to sleep, she jumped again, once more, for no apparent reason. She then felt a 'presence' getting closer to her, and she just somehow knew it couldn't touch her heart. It managed a couple of times to knick her heart, and everytime it would hurt. It just left, after awhile, and hasn't done anything since (this was a few days back). Now, she'll go to walk into rooms, or certain areas of her house, and just stop. She feels like she physically can't go into the room. Finally, everynow and then, she'll see a shimmer of silver out of the corner of her eye, but doesn't feel anything bad from it. She just sees the glimpses of it. That's the only one that I could begin to form an idea about, thinking it's probably some guardian for her.
Anyways, she's someone who has always been really skeptical about superstition and anything religious, so this is really strange for her. I've also not much experience with this kind of thing, so I'm kinda worried. Any help, advice?

I, with my little bit of knowledge, would give her a 'good luck charm' [aka amulet] and charge it with shielding energies, preferably earth.
See if that helps her at all.

Bayne Wraithson I, with my little bit of knowledge, would give her a 'good luck charm' [aka amulet] and charge it with shielding energies, preferably earth. See if that helps her at all. Well, she's been wanting to avoid the metaphysical stuff, so I don't think she'd agree to that.

Try just purifying the area. Smudge it and put up a protective barrier in the house. Banishings are wonderful too. It doesn't have to be flashy metaphysical stuff. You can even do a banishing candle spell for her, long distance. She'll never have to know until it begins to work. Then you can tell her. Nice and non-freaky. 3nodding

To Silvander: She's not used to having any sorts of these things happen, and is pretty well trying to convince herself that it's simply her mind playing tricks on her. That's why she doesn't want to do the metaphysical way. As for the candle, I'd be willing, but I've told myself I wouldn't do magic or anything of the sort towards someone without their consent.

As long as its not hurting her I supose you could wait it out, and see if she comes around. thoguh if she is some oen you visit often it wouldn't be a bad idea to find a simple way to bless it while you are there. I know there is a way to bless things with out smudging, but it escapes me at the moment. I'm sure if it gets realy bad she will let you help,otherwise she wouldn't have told you the problem, right?
