I have to admit... I love the sound of my gak on rifle 5s... but sabre 6s feel oh so good...

What is your favorite technique/toss on your weapons?

I love any blade toss on sabre ^.^ But throwing rifle fives well is one of the most satisfying things I've ever done 3nodding

So when you say fives and sixes are you referring to how many times you can spin them? Or how many rotations in the air? I don't know, lol, my guard has no names for our rifle tosses because we mostly made them up. We did a pretty cool left hand toss, it kind of made an arc and then spun in the air, but we never named it. I can spin my rifle a lot of consecutive times now, generally at least thirty if I'm trying, but I've gone up to eighty or a hundred. Mostly because there was about an hour gap from the end of the school day to the start of practice, and I live far enough away from school that there was no point in my going home, so I played with my rifle instead.

I'm really going to miss guard though. Or rather, I really do miss guard. We dont' have winterguard or anything, and this was my last year. I'm not going to continue it in college, not because I don't like it, I really love guard, but because I won't have time. Alas.

I just got my fives on rifle and it feels good. Now that I have them more solid I'm working on body underneath. My favorites are the lean back, touch the ground catch; split jump underneath, land and catch at the same time; capriel (Spelling?) underneath; split catches; turn arounds. That's all...I think...

I want to get my hands on a sabre to practice.

I like "blind catches" with my sabre. It's like... when you toss then catch it behind your head.

i really havent done anything weapon related.......BUT i did enjoy whatever it was that i did at MGM studios.....

theres a villan gift shop and there were toy rifles and i started tossing it. and it went to the left and i kinda dove for it, but landed in like a ballerina pose with the rifle over my head.

then a little kid shot me with a toy pistol.

and i fell over.

and the other guardies i was with laughed at me.

i like anything but a tripple on rifle, they anoy me. i don't know why but i can't figure them out. i like doubles quads and fives if it's a good day and i can get it out. i only have a quad right now cuz i have a very heavy rifle. but i think that's good for being a freshmen. i love to watch the seniors through like sixes and sevens it looks so pretty.

sabre, i don't have any pet peve tosses yet but i like to toss it. its fun
