this is where the gate outside of Hollow Bastion is and it goes aways that can lead to the castle or to thr Restoration Site. and since this is also the restoration site, it leads to the Postern, which is the entrance to where you can get to Ansem's studies.

A dark portal opens.
Josh fell to his knees as the portal closed."No!" He quickly got up, but the portal closed behind him.

Yuna followed him, then touched a piece of metal that was randomly sticking out of nowhere. It looked like a sword, so she pulled on it -- then a huge pile of metal rubbish fell down, making an enourmously large clanging noise. She jumped away, and bowed, figuring that she had scared Tidus and everyone else. "Um...I am very sorry." she said, bowing more. "Ouch," she whispered, as she realized that she had cut her hand open, and it was now bleeding. She hid her hand behind her back, so Tidus could not see, putting on a fake smile.
