The band has a very distinct sound, seperating them from most of black metal. "Mother North" will always be the greatest black metal song in my eyes. Frost is a beastly drummer and Satyr is a great all around musician.

I'm not a huge fan of their industrial black metal career =S "Fuel For Hatred" is decent.. I guess, but can't come close to their old medieval black metal style.

My fav. album is probably Nemesis Divina, followed VERY closely by Dark Medieval Times. Anyways, any other Satyricon fans out there?

I havent heard much of their stuff because I dont pay much attention to Black Metal... I can never quite figure out how to pronounce their name confused sweatdrop

if you have windows xp, go to start->control panel->speech and type in the name and listen ^_^
