If you had to give your reason to why we are gay/bi, what would it be?
Do you think were are born with it or made into it?
Give complete details.

I think it's probably a combination of the two. Some people are probably more likely to be gay, but depending on ...I dunno, something that happens in the womb, or a combination of events early in life ( I do NOT mean some sort of trauma or sexual abuse!!), they may or may not end up having an attraction for the same sex.

Then there's the theory that everyone, or very nearly everyone, is somewhat bisexual. You know, the scale from 0 to 6? (0 being completely heterosexual and 6 being completely homosexual) It's pretty likely that the majority of people fall somewhere in the middle.

Cuz guys r hawt cool

I was brought up in an extremely neutral environment. My parents never set boundaries for me, "you must be this," "you must do that," so I'm the most open minded person I know. I never saw liking guys as wrong or anything, so I was bisexual as soon as I hit puberty and started thinking about that stuff.

Why am I gay? My homosexuality is just a part of me, like my sense of humor, or my laugh. Part of it is genetic part of it is sociological, yet mostly I think it is just part of me. If you need me to expound upon that I will.

I think people make a mistake by trying to to find the reason to homosexuality.

Once it was common to belief that homosexuality was a disease. therefore it was tried to find causes to homosexuality and way to "cure" this "Disease".

I think that we simply should accept the fact that we are like we are, and be happy for that.

We are after all different in every others ways, so why should we be equal in our sexuality?

As if there have to be a reason to your sexualities.
Maybe your parents think you will chance you sexualities "back to normal" later in your life

there is scientific evidence that boys with older brothers are more likely to be gay then the older brother.
!!BECAUSE!!
when a fetus is concieved, and it is a boy, we have more Y chromosomes then a female fetus, and the mothers body interprets us as a foriegn body, and sends chemicals to us in order to try and destroy it, but it never works. they don't know how the chemicals do it, but they do know that it neurologically affects us. but if it is the 1st boy the mother has had, thye aren't affected, because the mothers body sends out only, minimal amounts of these chemicals.
BUT the more boys she has, the bigger the dose of chemicals is, each and every time.
and it works out to be about:
2nd son= +2.333(repeating)% chance of being homosexual
3rd son= 3.66(repeating)% chance of being homosexual
4th son= 4% chance of being homosexual
and so on, and son on, it isn't defined that you will be straight, or you will be gay when you are born, theres just a slightly higher chance you will be gay the more older brothers you have.

Does it really matter who you're attracted to? I mean, how I see it is that I like guys because that's the way I am, and that's the way God made me. Yes, I know, how funny, a religious gay. But it's true. I don't really think it's a lot of who I am, although many people see it that way, the way I dress, the way I cross my legs, the way my voice is....they judge me before they even know me. I hardly think that's fair.

Quite honestly I don't know and I don't really care. I'm not a scientist and I'm not a psychologist, and I don't plan on becoming one. I don't know if sexuality is a choice or not, but I really don't care because I'm not going to change my sexuality. I'm fine the way I am, I don't need to be told that its not a choice to feel secure in my sexuality, because in reality it doesn't matter. I live my life how I want it not how Jerry Fallwell wants it. As long as I hurt no one I am(or at least should be) free to do as I wish.

That being said, If I had to guess, I would go with what my religious beliefs tell me. I personally believe in reincarnation, strongly, and I believe the soul has a specific gender which it is attracted to and a specific gender which it wants as its body. So someone could be attracted to males and still the soul feels more comfortable in the male body. When the soul is put in the wrong body that it doesn't feel comfortable with you get transgendered/transexual people. That is why also that we haven't been able to prove 100% wheter sexuality is choice or inborn, is because science has not evolved to the point where it can study the soul(thats if you believe humans have one).

As for the whole distanced father thing, I don't know about any of you but I'm close with my dad, yes I was distanced between 10-15, but now and before we are close. Which is kinda hard because he is homophobic, to what degree I'm not sure any more.

It makes sense,
when you get sick, your body sees this infection as a forgiegn body,
it's loosely the same principal
we have X and Y chromosomes, and girls have X.
and Y chromosomes don't belong in the women's body so she tries and gets rid of them.
I'm not tryin to use it as an excuse for being gay. I'm happy, iI don't need some compensation knowledge to know WHY I am, because I don't care, I just thought it was and interesting fact.

Yes it was interesting, honestly. My reply wasn't meant to put you down, it was in order to show my meaning about the so called scientist and their statistics. I don't believe in statistics about our feelings and such

It's ok, I don't believe that some statistics can define a person, and I can't say that I 100% believe those facts, but if You think about it, it makes a bit of sense. smile
