A warrior walked a dusty road, feeling disheartened, betrayed in fact. In his past job with Liu Biao he was treated unfairly, not given the money he deserved. He got out of there as soons as possible. Right now he was on the road to Xiao Pei, preparing to join the force of Shu. Yes, this was a big change, and he had heard reports of strange attackers from faraway lands, but he thrived in battle, which was the place for him.

This man was muscular and good-looking, a former pirate retired from his old ways, but a glint in his eyes portrayed his past fury. He thought of all the trouble he would stir up with his new force, with his friends, Guan Yu and Zhang Fei. He had his sword positioned near his side, ready to swing at any moment, but not wanting to fight at the moment. Many people would have been intimadated by the sight of this man, his muscular physique easily shown.

As he walked along the road he saw he was but a few feet from the town he was searching for. The bells on his side jingled as he walked into the large village.....

A ship docked at a harbor near Xia Pi in the late afternoon not too long after Date's forces landed and began their attack. Off the boat trotted a massive horse with angry eyes and a wild mane. On the back of the horse a man layed back with his feet up and arms behind his head, propping it up. As the horse stepped onto this new land it stopped and the man sat up. His wild blonde hair flowed in the wind and his glothes flapped gently against his muscular back. He looked out to the land and smiled, "Hmm... Perhaps this place will be more fun than back home! I can't wait to get out there!" He said to himself as he squeezed his legs together on his horse's flanks. "Go Matsukaze! Keiji Maeda will make a name for himself out here with you at his side!!!" The horse darted off toward the horizon at amazing speed considering that Keiji was such a large man.

A second, smaller ship docked at Xia Pi, having secretly followed the first ship to arrive. Out stepped a man clad in red armor, still representing the Sanada Clan on his headband. In his hand, he held a spear with three blades, two horizontal and opposite of each other, with the third jutting vertically from the center.

Yukimura was but a one man army, and was in need of allies. He surveyed this new land momentarily, and then mounted a white horse near the back of the ship, decorated in red cloths and ropes. With a small spur, they were off, in search of the new challenges awaiting in this foreign land.

Zhao Yun, part of Yuan Shao's main forces still, rode his Xi Liang horse at breakneck speed, fearing his prey might get away. During mid-day at Shao's castle in Bei Hai, rumors spread of new warriors appearing, one being a powerful looking spearsman with bright red armor. Zhao Yun, excited to hear about this warrior and the possibility of recruiting him for Yuan's soon-to-be war against Cao Cao, he had been allowed to recruit this warrior. But, when he arrived at Xia Pi, and spotted a moving warrior in red, news of any army or attacks were unable to reach him. He galloped as fast as he could towards the red warrior.

"You," Yun began in his native language, "seem to be strong! How would you like to join my lord?" A smile rose on Zhao's face as he was still riding behind the Sanada. He continued to press forward, taking his spear out at arm's length, readying for a duel to test if either were worthy of each other. Judging by the boldness and taste of the warrior, Zhang He would love to meet him.

The young Sanada halted his horse quickly and turned around to meet this new challenger. A small smirk stretched across his face. "Join your lord? The only one lord deserving of my service was lord Shingen Taked, and the Takeda is no more. So I, Yukimura Sanada, will wage my own war, and gather my own warriors to begin a new Sanada Clan." his horse shifted, the winds picked up and died repeatedly, tossing the sleek ebony locks to and fro as he examined the spear-wielding warrior. "Is strength the only thing you look for in a warrior? If so, You've more to learn. Come! Let us cross spears, and perhaps as we witness each other's strength in battle, we can also begin to understand each other's morals in life."

On the road just south of Luo Yang there trotted a massive red steed with an even more massive man riding atop it. Red Hare rode quickly east and Lu Bu grinned an ambitious grin. He had heard news of invaders from the ocean and he just HAD to go see if they would pose any sort of a challenge to him. He knew that there was a battle going on at Xia Pi so that was where he was headed. Perhaps once he was there he could see who he's up against.

This new land, Mitsunari Ishida had heard a lot of it. He had read of it too in the scrolls from his native land of Japan. But he never did think he would get to see it in person. Mitsunari had wandered away from those he had come with, the nature of an explorer and adventurer taking over his usually calm and level headed demeanor. Along a path he wandered, until he noticed a large man on an even larger horse heading his way. Those eyes were quite alert as his hand went to his battle fan at his side. In case this stranger, who was quite strong looking was an enemy of his or Japan's, Mitsunari had plans on battling him. But for the time he simply remained to the side of the path somewhat... staring intensely at the approaching rider.

((I think that Lu Bu is no longer in this area of China. He made his way to Xia Pi in the Shu forum))

((Since I need some battling and need to save Zhen Ji and Zhang He, I am having Zhao Yun move out of this section into a battle somewhere, not sure yet. I don't mind saying Yukimura won.))

A sigh escaped him as he had walked on, having missed his clan. He had promised to give them glory, and right now... he was not so sure. He was looking for the three remaining scrolls that he needed first. But his desires mattered not for his clan came first. He felt disappointed now, but decided to keep his hopes up in search of warriors to aid him in bringing the Mibu to an empire's level of respect.
"If only people would assist my cause..."
He said with a sigh of contempt at himself. His times of peace were things he'd love to end, because if he was peaceful for too long, he'd be laid back, and that he did not want. He wasn't in the best of moods, but he could be worse as he kept walking along the roads, eventually approaching Luo Yang.

"...Uhn...."

A soft moan came out from her lips, and a moment later her golden eyes fluttered open. She felt... drugged. Her entire body felt heavy and weighed down, and there was a loud pounding that was ramming itself against her skull. Zhen Ji reached up and tenderly touched her forehead before she sat up, trying to steady herself. After her vision cleared she blinked and looked around, trying to figure out exactly where it was that she was at.

...What in the heavans was this place? She didn't reconize it at all!

As Zhen's mind became clearer she suddenly slammed by a wave of memories. She and the rest of the officers had been captured by those pitiful invaders and taken to cells. She'd resisted, then two men had come and soon after a female. The female had tried to talk to her but then some other man dressed in dark clothing must have drugged her. With her hardly able to stand he'd thrown her over his shoulder and then she'd grown unconcious. Barbarians! Theives! Down right disgusting rats! How dare they do that to her?

And Zhang... oh no, Zhang He! What had become of his fate? No! She had to go back, Zhang He was still there, captive inside of his prison cell. Or was he even still alive? The last that she had seen of him he'd been bleeding very badly. Zhang He! And what of Zhao Yun? What had happened to him? And their lord? Oh no... the lord....

Zhen stood up shakily and looked around, still unable to figure out exactly where it was that she was at. She stumbled at first but regained her posture and walked out from trees out into what looked like an empty dock. Or at least, not very busy. She walked over to the water and bent down, taking a handful of it and first taking a deep drink and then began to wash her face in an attempt to further clear her mind. Once this was finished she re-tied her hair into the high horse-tail that she kept it in and then stood strait back up and lastly smoothed the wrinkles in her dress. Now she could think again.

She was weaponless. Her flute must have slipped out from her hands when she'd been carried off. If she went back, what could she do without it? But Zhen would figure something out! But for now, she couldn't just stand there dumbly looking at the water. She turned around and started walking down the road. She didn't know where this road would take her, but that didn't matter. She had to go somewhere.

Nobutoki just stood there. Nothing to do.. again. Turning around to have his horse trot on the roads, he yawned, and laid back on his horse, taking a nap. Hopefully, he wouldn't be thrown off again like when his horse panicked at the site of a rabid dog.
"Oi, Kinpuu, don't freak out this time."
With that, he kicked back, and took his nap upon his steed's back. Luo Yang was just too.. silent. Which is why he left in the first place. Calm, silent snores were made as the man slept... only to be woken up by his idiot of a horse a half hour later.
"Ow.. what was that for?" Rubbing his head where he landed, he got up, and dusted himself off. Looking at who had stopped his horse and made it panic and shake him off, he saw that it was a wandering lady in blue, nice frame, he thought and looked to her.
"Who.. may I ask are you?"

Zhen Ji had been walking down the road when she heard the sound of a horse getting spooked. She'd seen the horse traveling the road with a strange man asleep on its back. As she turned around it seemed as if the horse had actually been frightened by her. Zhen watched as the man fell off and then afterwards rub his head and started to demand why his horse had shaken off.

Now he was looking at her. Zhen turned around to start walking, but then he asked her a question. She was a lady, so she would at least answer his question. She turned around and paused, looking at him for a moment before responding: "The Lady Zhen Ji of the Yuan family." She made a small bow to him out of respect, something that anyone should do when they were talking to someone. Although she hadn't been even half as polite before she'd been thrown out of that dungeon cell. But Zhen didn't feel as they deserved any respect. They had all acted like barbarians on the battle field. Not a single shred of grace. Zhang He put them all to shame, at least he put beauty into his movements.

"I need to know where it is that this road leads to," Zhen added as she straitened her back and looked at the man with her piercing yellow eyes. "I am afraid that I am lost, but as long as you can tell which direction I'm heading in I can find my way. Ah, you must forgive me for my rude manners. What is your name?"
