so. i'm a big fan of astrology and spiritualism, which basically means that i'm into horoscopes, tarot, fortunes, palm reading, meditation, all that jazz. not quite sure this is related to paranormal, but it can be really interesting the way things are connected to how the cosmos line up. i don't do much of it myself, but i like to research it. and look at my own.
i did try group meditation once. there was a lot of energy in the circle and i knew it from the start. the experience is one of the most memorable i've had for a while.

I, too have an interesst in astrology and tarot. Two summers ago, I got bored, so I did research into horriscopes and did a test to check their accuracy (I only did it with my sign, though, Cancer).
I've been trying to teach myself tarot reading from library books, but I find it highly confusing, especially since I don't know anyone who can read tarot who can explain it to me.

a big part of tarot is the symbolism in the cards. there are some meanings to where they come up and whether they are inverted or whatnot, but it's a lot with the reader's interpretation.
that's what i've heard anyway.

That's what I've read, but each card can have three or four meanings, depending on which way it appears and with what other cards and in what position.

I have tarot cards.. though they were given to me for my birthday they aren't the best quality. But alot of the little readings I've done have proven to be about 85% correct most of the time

what about Ouija boards? I have one, and I tried it, and it worked eek
very creepy, but apparently there is a 3 year old spirit in my room who is lost and doesn't know where it came from

Creepy. I've never really trusted ouiji boards, but then again, I've never had the opportunity to try one, either.

Cool......I like both....I love astrology and tarot,I have tarot cards and most of my readings are correct, scary correct sometimes....they help me make better decisions. I also love astrology and the zodiac,my symbol is libra and I can't get enough of hearing about the right person for me,just cant find them. sweatdrop It also explains my frequent mood swings people say I have sometimes.Ive overcome it mostly though. My bad habit of flirting, indecisiveness, and my manipulative qualities make me the perfect vixen.... cool I mostly get what I want through charm and an innocent smile. biggrin

Hmm... my zodiac sign is Aries and my chinese zodiac sign is Dragon. They basically say the same thing. And annoyingly enough, almost all of those traits refer to me.
As for tarot cards, they say they only work right when they are given to you, am I correct?

I think astrology definately plays some part in your subconscious, but it's not dominated by the zodiac Sun signs. If you want to get a true astrology reading you have to go into the moon signs and planets. I did that once last summer and it was really interesting. The farther out planets like pluto and Neptune will actually influence the personality of an entire generation.
I used to do the ouija board all the time. Loved it, taught me a lot of things.

i'm a taurus/snake, and i've learned a while ago the both signs are a lot like me... it's really creepy at first. sometimes it still freaks me out how people are always so like their signs. even if they don't know about it.
i've never tried a ouija board before. i want to, but i've never had the chance yet.
i'm thinking of asking for a deck of tarot cards for my birthday next month.

i think that people are unusually scared of ouija boards because they watched the Exorcist. i think, personally, that ouija boards aren't a means of interplanar transit for spirits, but, like EVP, a method of communication is all. but i'm only saying this because i've never seen someone possessed from a ouija board, much less a board itself.
