I don't know of too many people that don't like hamburgers, and I'm pretty fond of blackforest cherry cake (Schwarzwalder Kirschtorte!); have a favorite German food, or wanna talk about favorite Bratwurst toppings? Items auf der Speisekarte? (I don't think I can get away without saying the word "beer," so there it is!) What about German beverages? Post here!

there is this one liqueur from germany that is extreamly good, it's called fagermeiter i believe, but i don't know much about german food. but i can go on and on about norwegian food. 3nodding

I love German food, especially the Sauerbraten my Grandmother makes...its sooo good...
i like chocolate too.
yay food. wow how sad I am talking about food and chocolate but I have a reason to because there is no chocolate in the house and I am at a point where I need it right now otherwise I'm going to tear a keyboard out of the comptuer owww

Me I am happy with german chocolate it is so good because the rich taste ,Some has is not that sweet but the type I like is dark german chololate.

I never got around to making the German food from the recipes in the book I borrowed from the school library. But I really want to try berliner.. it looks so good, and the recipe seems easy to make.
