Hmm is it just me or did Anne Rice's writing fall off, personally i don't really care for her,but i do not hate her, she has beena very important role in vampire literature. Please don't flame me here i am entitled to my own opinions, But i'd love to hear everyone elses opinions.

I'm currently reading her book Vittorio the Vampire. It's not bad. Her books aren't horrid, they can be rather cliche, but you can sit down and lose yourself in them. They flow rather well,I think. There is another one I want to read, it's one that's a spin off of Sleeping Beauty. It's like a darker version, with heavy sensual overtones redface So should be rather interresting. ((Oh, and don't worry, no flaming in here, and everyone is entitled to their own opinions! 4laugh ))

I agree they tend to flow nicely but really i can't get into them anymore as they just seem to be to cliche. Okay now the darker version of sleeping beauty i would love a name for. I have a personal favorite vampire genre novelist but his books aren't for everyone. Name is Mick Farren he has a few different genres he writes in but i love his vampire series.

TrueBlood225 witch one of her books would you recommend to someone who has never read any of her books? Hmm... my first book was Interview With A Vampire. I fell in love with poor Louis. I'm not completely sure that is the best starting point, however. It could do no harm.
