o-O I just had an odd after-dinner conversation with my parents. Somehow we got on the subject of cemetaries and the different ways people have been buried and whatnot.
We mentioned different cemetaries and whatnot including a cemetary up in NY that has some of my ancestors there (I've visited it myself), Hollywood Cemetary in Richmond, VA (visited that with Lance; thousands of people there including two presidents), the cemetary in my apartment complex, and, oddly enough, the cemetary in the mall parking lot in my hometown. o-O
When it came to how we wanted to be buried, both me and my dad agreed on cremation when we die. He wanted to be stuck in his old '60-something Ford or to have my mom stick him in the passenger seat and drive around with him. I recommended the glove compartment. xd 'Course, my mom's not gonna do any of that. For me, I want my ashes mixed with paint and have someone do a painting, probably of me when I was still alive.
'Course, I once told Lance when we were in Hollywood Cemetary that if I were to be buried normally, I'd want some kind of motion-censor recording go off by my headstone to creep people out who are passing by. xd I just got a weird look for that one.
So, here's the discussions: -What's the coolest cemetary you've ever visited? -Where's the oddest place you've ever seen a cemetary? -In what way do you wish to be buried? -If not buried, what do you want done with your ashes? -If not cremation, then what do you want done with your body?

Hmm...wow. I dunno, I'm not a big fan of visiting cemetaries, but I did see one once next to a dairy farm. Not really odd, but yeah.
And, I'd want to be buried next to a river up in the mountains, my favorite place to be. I dunno why, I've just always been fascinated with running water. 0.o
I think it'd be funny to have a motion detector thing, like you said and make it say. "I see you..." I'd get a kick out of that, even if I was dead.
Oh! and for my headstone, I'd want I giant Angel plaque, so people would think I was an important person and leave flowers there all the time. 3nodding

I thought of a really creative way for my body to be left. See, I'd give my house to one of my friends, Alex. She'd mumify me, then prop me up at the door of my house. So whenever people come in, trying to sell the house, or just some door-to-door person, I'd scare 'em off. Alex said a dead me by the front door wouldn't bug her at all. >.>;;
Keep in mind we were all kinda hyper at the time. sweatdrop xd
Ok, but seriously, I think I'd like to get burried. 3nodding I'd like a squirrel to be by my gravestone. My grandfather has one by his, and I always found the background story to it funny.
Since My town has a bunch of teen, drunk drivers, theres a bunch of small graves on the side of the road. I guess thats weird. >.>
I think sometime in May, my class is going to Austin, and we're gonna visit the state cementary. Buncha famous texans buried there and stuffs.

Viking funeral. I would want a massive funeral pire erected on a boat and then when it gets sent out into the sea with all my worldly possessions on it (and my sword in my death grip) my friend Chris gets to fire the first arrow. Then everyone gets to take shots at me until I burn.

When I die I want all my organs donated (I'll have no use for them when I'm dead.) I've decided that I want to be cremated but I'm not sure what I want done with my ashes.
Sunray > your idea of combining ashes with paint and having a painting done is very creative and well thought out. 3nodding I really wish I could have thought of something like that. *jealous of your creativity xp *
Anyways, I always thought it was a little strange when people have huge graveyards in their backyards. Also in a couple neighborhoods around town there are minature graveyards in the middle of the entrance. Kinda odd. Oh, and at this church I went to there was a very old cemetary that was used for slaves and everything was grown over by ivy and all the headstones were crumbled and you couldn't tell where anyone was supposed to be buried because it was only a little forest area surrounded by a fence.
Maybe I'm not the only one who likes to visit cemetaries... I've always been fascinated by them and had a strange curiousity. I remember I wanted to join this organization (forgot the name of it) where you help preserve cemetaries and clean headstones (with permission of whoever is in charge). Someday I'm going to travel to Europe and have the chance to visit an ancient, historical, fancy cemetary.
Oh yea, one last thing! Someday I'm going to buy a ouija board and test it out in a cemetary with a couple friends. Mwhahaha.

"Heh, it's not like I haven't thought this one through a million times. I've always been fascinated with the dead and dead things. I don't believe in spirits or anything, but I wish the undead and such (demons, things like that) were real 3nodding . Let's face it, the dead are just more fun than the living. Either way, my friends and I can't decide. I dunno if I want to be burried or cremated. I wanna be burried because it's and awesome thought knowing I'll be slowly eaten and rotting inside of a tiny box for a very long time (Doesn't matter where, maybe I'll buy a plot of land and be buried by myself with no other graves for hundreds of miles). If I'm cremated, my best friends have agreed to take my ashes to the nearest coffee factory (duinno what you'd call one) and mix my ashes up with the coffee (secretly, of course ninja ), so we know lots of people are partaking of Suke. Or else they will hurl them at a Grey-Hound bus full of old people or small children so my ashes spread over the windshield and cause an uber deadly crash blaugh ."
"Hmmm, so many possibilities for a perfectly good corpse."
