Introduction:
Greetings, I must prepare you for quite a literate adventure. This is my Fire Emblem RP, which is composed completely of Original Characters, aka OC. This simply means that a character from any other Fire Emblem game is not qualified to participate. I am the GM of this RP, and I am quite anxious for a fun time. I know I can count on myself, and you can count on me too. However, I am also counting on you. Without you, there cannot be an RP, so we share a mutual ground. We must cooperate and work together in order to succeed, I expect great things out of you: Effort, resilience, and loyalty. I pray my trust is not misplaced.

The Contract:
I reserve the right to deny admittance to the RP for any reason, and I also can ban anyone for any reason. I also shall PM unactive users indiscriminately. Any of the following information regarding the RP is subject to change without prior notice. However, in the event that I change something, I will keep a log of what I changed, honest! Applying for this RP implies that you have read and are willing to accept these rather trivial conditions that most people don?t even need to ever worry about. In fact, I only bother with this in the event that I get some nasty user who?s a punk.

The Application:
YOU MUST PM ALL APPLICATIONS TO ME
Um... yeah. If you want to join, fill out this little handy rubric. It'll need to be redone for every character you decide to submit. You can have 3 characters MAX, as of now. Occasionally, I might offer characters that are fair game to the first person to claim them, although they might die before the end... Although it is not required, I would just love it if you provided me with a portrait of your character. In fact, I can do it for you, if you wish. Visuals really add effect.
Username: ((Put your username here))
Character Name: ((Put the name of your character here. Also be sure to include the character's homeland after the name. If you do not want to reveal a homeland, you may just provide the name))
Character Age: ((Put the age of your character here. If you want me to display "Unknown" here instead of an age, say so, but still provide an age))
Character Class: ((Put the class of your character here. Also put the level your character starts the RP at, and be reasonable. If the class is original, please fill out the Class Description section below))
Class Description: ((Put the description of an original class here. You need to include inherent abilities, statistical trends/ strengths/ weaknesses, usable weapons, and upgrade bonuses if the class can still promote. If your class is not original, delete this section. Be aware that original classes WILL be audited for fairness.))
Character Weapon: ((Put the weapon(s) the character will be using in battle. It is allowed to get more during the journey, and weapons WILL BREAK. Only Lords are allowed to have Prf weapons. All other characters must have normal weapons))
Character Abilities: ((As in abilities that exist in Path of Radiance. You cannot make a new one up. You are only allowed one ability to start the RP with and must ask permission before acquiring any new ones.))
Personality: ((Please do not include your character's personality in your application. Doing so will disqualify you. People should learn really quickly what type of person your character is; there's no need to warn them. Delete this section. Yes, I am merely seeing if you are paying attention))
Report: ((Do not give me a autobiography of your character. It defeats the purpose of character development, which I happen to be huge in. You shouldn't be telling everyone right off the bat about how your parents tragically died in a catastrophe, or how the necklace you're wearing is the key to unlocking a sacred weapon, or how Darth Vader is secretly your father; it should be revealed during your travels or during some revelation. However, a report will be acceptable. Governments/spies have been observing your activities and questioning the locals about you, and have placed their results in a report, which is easily accessible. Using a report, you can reveal what you think would be easy to find out about your character and leave other people guessing with vague speculation made by these people observing you. The key word here is "vague"))
Sample: ((Don't even bother. I'll know if you're good enough by now. If I have doubts, I'll sneak through your active topics, or just plain ask you for a sample if I must. However, I do not require an RPing sample from you, it is up to you whether you supply one or not. It would probably bore you to write one, and it would probably bore me to read it))

The Rules:
... There are no rules. I'm too lazy to make up a list of rules because I know my RP doesn't need it. You are bright people, right? You should know proper RPing etiquette, or else I wouldn't have accepted you in the first place. The only rule is to have fun, okay? Yeah, if you don't, you'll get banned, lol.

Laws:
Changes to the RP from the game. It may or may not bare any relevance to the RP.
-The RP uses Wo Dao and Longsword, instead of Shamshir and Zanbato.
-Valkeries use Anima Magic.
-Paladins use Swords, Lances, and Axes.
-Generals use Lances and Axes.
-Swordslayer loses its triangle reversing properties.
-Introduction of Zanbato and Bladecleaver, respectively a sword and lance effective against Myrmidons.
-Runesword loses Nosferatu properties, uses a sword attribute in direct combat, loses 3 Wt.
-Wind Sword loses effectiveness against fliers, but gains 2 Mt.
-Light Brand gains 10 Crit and 10 Hit.
-Wyvern slaying weapons are no more.
-Weapons effective against armor units gain 2 Mt.
-The bonus damage ((Ex: Bows vs. Fliers)) is twice the weapon?s Mt.
-Fighters, Warriors, Brigands, Pirates, and Berserkers now fall under an Axe using category called "Fighter". Weapons effective against Fighters are under development.
-Weapons against unmounted Magic units are also allowed.
-Magic that reverses the Trinity of Magic is allowed.
-Bows and Magic may NOT contain effectiveness against anything, except bows are always effective against fliers.
-The exceptions to the above law are Prf bows or magic and/or Legendary bows and Magic.
-Prf weapons: effectiveness are NOT limited to mounted and armor units. You are allowed to make it good against magic, myrmidon, or fighter. Magic Prf is not allowed to be good against magic. Prf bows must be effective against fliers. Prf weapons MUST ONLY be effective against two different unit types.
-Theives, Assassins, Archers, Snipers, Soldiers, and unpromoted Lords have no weakness. Halberdiers, Rangers, Great Knights, Mage Knights, Summoners, Wyvern Knights, and Rouges do not exist unless they are admitted as Original Classes.
-Dragons and Manaketes will not be allowed until a certain point of the RP has been reached.
-Heroes have the Occult Skill of Luna, Nomadic Troopers have Sol, and Valkaries inheret Flare.
-Bishops lose the Occult Skill of Flare, and inheret the Skill Ritual. Druids also obtain Ritual.
-Sleep is an invalid status aliment, because it is not applicable for the purposes of an RP. Deadeye will double the user's Skill upon activation.
-Stun will prevent the target from moving and halves the target's Speed for 3 turns, although the unit can still fight.
-Collossus no longer relies on the enemy's Con. It will add +5 Strength to an attack upon activation.

The Cast:
Once your character has been accepted, he or she will be added here. The RP will begin immediately after the lead male has been established, it's between Brolem and Denko. Oh, the Character Guidelines:
Three Lords are up for grabs. One of them is going to be the Male Lead of the RP.
1) The Male lead MUST be from Eturia, no questions.
2) Lise is automatically the Female lead because it?s my RP.
3) Of the other two Lords, one must be male, the other female.
4) They must be from Bern and Lycia, respectively. The Lord from Lycia must be from Ostia.
5) I apologize for taking so much control over the Lords, but it?s for the greater good.
6) Villains are played by me, but they won?t count towards my character count. ninja
7) There cannot be more than three of any class, except Cavalier/Paladin. Promoted versions count! A Cleric and a Bishop are two of the same people!

Character Name: Lise Rolante Misener of Ilia
Character Age: 18
Chracter Class: Lord--> Falcon Lord, Level 1
Character Abilities: None
Class Description: As a Lord, Lise is a ground unit with the stat growths of a Pegasus Knight. That means she gains considerable Speed and Resistance, and a lack of Defence and Strength. Her weapon of choice is the lance. She normally relies on dodging attacks, although she tends to avoid fighting enemies that use Strength. She has the best chance of winning if she fights a magic unit. When she promotes to a Falcon Lord, she gains the ability to fly, as well as the ability to equip Bows. Albiet, she happens to gain weakness to the bow at the same time.
Character Weapon: Slim Lance, Gungnir
Report: The head strong princess of Ilia. As with most head strong princesses, she follows her heart, despite what the consequences may be. Her father is still alive, as the King of Ilia, although information on her mother is strictly confidential. For the while, most assume she is no longer alive. Lise lives an honest and pure life, and thus has made many friends. Most importantly, she is close friends with the Eturian Mage General's son, *insert male lead's name here*. Her overall clout makes her a recognized individual.
Even though she has been taught the lance for a good 3 years, it was mostly self defense and she has never had true battle experience. She does have a Pegasus named Aurora, but she finds it difficult to ride it because she just doesn't have the balance or confidence to ride one doing battle manuvers. For now, she doesn't believe it is combat ready, so she only uses it for getting around.

Character Name: Derek of Ilia
Character Age: 28
Character Class: Hero, Level 1
Character Weapon: Steel Sword, Hand Axe
Character Abilities: Resolve
Report: Derek's past is surrounded by mystery, and perhaps he wants it to stay hidden. What is known is that he was born and raised in Ilia. Records show that he has no sibling, suggesting he was an only child. From this, we can assume that his early life was full of turmoil and poverty. As of now, he serves the King as a vassal. He seems to have left his past behind, although the existance of his parents are unknown, due to the fact that he never makes any attempt to contact them.

Character Class: Mage-->Sage, Level 2.
Character Weapon: Fire tome.
Character Abilities: None
Report: Most who know Harmony know the very least of her past: that her parents are dead, and that she was rescued by a maiden of Ilia and taken to the castle, and she has lived there since. The maiden was Lady Ellen, and since Harmony was brought to the castle at the gentle age of five years old, that's who she was raised by and she was her guardian. Ellen is old now, but still capable, and has recently gone on a missionary trip, leaving Harmony to fend for herself [not that she won't be safe] within the castle.

She tried to stick to it, for Etruria, but when she saw what he was like, she ran away from the castle. He wanted her for her knowledge and power; thus she has soldiers out for her, and there are quite a few 'wanted' signs up for her capture.

However, because she spent so much time with her father she had few friends in her village; the other children would often jeer at her. As the village was so close to Ilia, she could often look into the sky and see Pegasus knights flying overhead. As the years passed, she steadily rose among her ranks and became second in command of the 17th division, only to find that the Capitan was a traitor and thinking of forming peace with Sacea. With the captain removed on the grounds of being a traitor, she became the head of the 17th division.

Foreword:
I am going to be very honest with you. This RP... is basically the OC RP take two. The difference is the leadership is better and everything will be more collected and through. The old OC RP was not well maintained, and many people disappeared, and since I'm so attatched to the characters I made during that time, I'm going to see to it that they get the adventure they deserve. I am not the only one attatched to my characters, though. This was Riko's idea, BLAME HER! HA! domokun Fortunately, the OC RP didn't go far enough that I would have to redo many scenes. I also assume many of the people who apply did not participate in the old OC RP. Kiro, Khao, Riko, Brolly, and myself seem to be the only users that are still active and from the old OC RP.

The Prologue:
This story takes place 1000 years after FE 6 on the continent of Elibe, because it's ALWAYS 1000 years. To put the last 1000 years in a nutshell, it has been very peaceful, with the occassional dispute over stupid things. A battle here, a battle there, but for the most part, peaceful. Nothing evil has reared it's ugly face. However, the peoples of Elibe do not understand how evil returns to the land every thousand years, and it is right on scheduel. The 1000 years of peace have dulled the wits of the Elibe soldiers, as they are all level 1. You won't find anyone over 10, because they promote as soon as they can, so their stats are really low. Elibe is pretty much full of weaklings at the worst possible time, because now conflict has presented itself.

Bern and Sacae have recently been in a dispute over the land that separates their borders. It was resolved, but the king of Bern shortly disappeared after that. Adored by his citizens, The people of Bern blamed the people of Sacae, claiming that they stole him for further negotiations. The people of Sacae think the people of Bern are off their rockers and tell them how rediculous such an accusation is. The people of Sacae never lie, right? This confrontation has caused the two nations' army to prepare, although niether side has made a move.

At the same time, the throne of Eturia has been usurped by a very greedy man known as Emingard, the king's own ArchBishop! Emingard has imprisoned the king and anyone still loyal to the king. Perhaps someone escaped, though, and is searching for help, because it wasn't long before the people of Eturia found out. As a result, a complete lockdown on Eturia has been made. Nobody leaves or enters without Emingard's permission. How these events were made possible was because of a vast army Emingard suddenly came up with. Emingard's intentions merely encompass his desire to have great wealth. He taxes the people relentlessly, threatening them with worse punishmesnts should they refuse. Where this army of his came from is unknown.

Ilia, aside from it's own miserable lifestyle, has undergone a recession. An ecomonical disaster has caused the nation to slip further into decline. The people are working diligently to try and earn some more gold, but it has proven difficult with the arising conflicts. Apparently, the only way to come back out of the recession is for their mercenary work force to work overtime. They've been moving nonstop, doing mission after mission. As it stands now, there are barely any soldiers left to protect the castle. Of course, who would want to conquer a frozen nation in decline? The king of Ilia seems to remain neutral concerning Eturia, taking no action upon hearing the news. Bern and Sacae seem really intrested in renting a level 1 Pegasus Knight or two in the event that they have to fight.

The Lycia League, controlled by the Marquess of Ostia still, has held several meetings in regards to what sort of actions should be taken in order to resolve the many troubles of their neighbors. Lycia seems to have had the good fortune of not having some sort of conflict at their doorstep, so they feel they need to help out those who have met with trouble. However, no solid decision has been made. You must understand how delicate the situation is, however. Emingard is basically holding his own nation hostage. The Sacae and Bern conflict could engulf Lycia if they got involved. And Lycia was the REASON Ilia went into a recession. Ilia had owed them a lot of money for causing a really big fiasco. Pardoning such an outstanding fee would put Lycia into a brief recession itself! The leader of Lycia had to choose between Lycia going broke, or Ilia going broke. Hmm... tough decision.

To say the least, everythings a mess now.

Note: You don't need to know ANYTHING about FE 6 to play in this RP. After 1000 years, this RP has nothing/very little to do with FE 6, so don't worry.

The Synopsis:
This will be updated every 5 pages. Past events will not be erased. The main plot will follow the 4 Lords in the RP, while everyone else's story will be sub-plot. Each character's Main Plot will be cut in "Chapters". A new chapter begins when that last chapter ends. A chapter ends when a boss character is defeated or the objective of a map is fulfilled and the post battle happenings take place. When Lords meet, their story's are combined.

Darius's story: Chapter 1-2
Daruis has escaped from Eturia, after killing a few guards patrolling the gate. He makes his way towards Ostia, to petition for help. Because the Marquess of Ostia is out, he meets with his daughter, Terra. Terra and Darius's stories collide here and mark the beginning of Darius's 2nd chapter.
-Denko quit, so Daruis suddenly disappeared! eek
Lise's story: Chapter 1
Lise has planned on running towards Eturia to help Daruis after recieving a letter requesting aid. She planned on bringing Harmony, but unexpectantly gains the support of her retainer, Derek. Before they are able to get out, they are confronted by a troop of Ilian soldiers. They must fight their way out. During the skirmish, Lise runs into an old aquaintence, Theo. Suprised by their meeting, they breifly talk before deciding to team up.
Terra's story: Chapter 2
Terra's story begins at the beginning of Darius's second chapter. She was living peacefully with Fie, until Darius came with a plee for help. She feels compelled to help. During that same night, Fie runs off. Terra catches up to her to stop her, but not before they are spotted by a group of ruffians. Terra attempts to hold them off by herself. Terra rescues Fie, who wanted to head for the Western Isles to learn more about her mother. However, there was more pressing business. Terra suggested that they head for Ilia to gather more information and meet with the royalty there.
Zephr's story: Chapter 1-2
Zephr and his group of men, which include Hare and Ryu, are travelling through Sacae, apparently looking for someone who is, unbeknownst to Zephr, ALREADY in the party. They are constantly getting caught up in minor skirmishes because of the hostility between Bern and Sacae. Hare mentions that they should go to Ilia, and the party agrees. They near Bern's boarders, where Hare meets a dying woman. Zephr's 2nd chapter begins when they decide to head for Eturia as a result of this "client's" last words. While in Bern, Zephr's homeland, the streets are empty. The cause of this was a Draft established to strengthen Bern's numbers in the event that Bern and Sacae go to war. A Wyvern Rider familiar with Hare approaches the group, only to prompt the three to retreat.
After a while of running, they stop. Hare seems to have lost his nerve and begins to insist that they head back to the woman on the Wyvern they met before continuing on their current agenda. Zephr agrees and the troop heads back to Bern, Zephr's homeland.
Subplots:
Herald: Herald is an oddity in Ilia, being a citizen using a Wyvern as a mount, instead of a Pegasus. Many think he is from Bern. He is finding work and shelter. He chances upon a group of bandits and goes to warn the villiage, perhaps offer his services. Yes, he gets paid to get rid of the bandits and engages them quite effectively. Afterwards, he heads back to a village and over hears rumors of some sort of uprising in the castle. As proposterous as that sounded, Herald thought he should head for the castle. On the way, he comes up to a scene where an archer girl is protecting a small child from a group of shifty looking men.
Lethe: Lethe is a thief in Ilia, stealling from merchants and such to feed herself and two children who apparently she rescued and cared for ever since, Cael and Bryoni. During the early morning, Cael gets up and decides to go adventuring in search for food. He gets surrounded by some mean looking men looking to possess the three coins he has. Lethe wakes up and notices him gone. She frantically goes looking for him.
Isilra: Isilra is yet another oddity in Ilia, being the resident Archer. She also seeks merely to survive to the next day, looking for shelter and work. Thankfully, she finds an Inn, but it exhausts her funds. In the morning, she gets up early to look for a job. She notices a group of mean looking men harassing a single child. Logic vs. Moral. Moral wins, and she fires at the men in order to distract them and hopefully allow the child to escape, despite whatever might happen to her.
Rayin: Rayin is a slave in the Western Isles. He remembers his past, of friends, of enemies, and of his owners. He lives each day passively due to his gentleness.
Mia: Mia and her two companions, Jin and Jake, are travelling towards Ilia, in order to search for work. They are a travelling band of performers hoping to make some money in Ilia. They stumble across a mysterious old man looking for a villiage. He makes a very odd remark, calling Mia a Shaman, although she is clearly a Dancer. After more cryptic talking, he vanishes like air. Mia and her company move along.
Elaina: Elaina and her partner, Luther, are travelling mercenaries. They were drawn to Badon because of pirates that were running a muck there. After a slight skirmish, Elaina stopped the fighting and the pillaging by attacking the leader, Locke. During the fight, Luther stumbled upon a young female Mage by the name of Mellia. While things were settling down, Luther and Elaina decided to travel to Bern on Locke's ship to search for more work. On the boat, they get harassed by the local pirates until they were able to stumble into their room.
Mellia: Mellia is a Mage fleeing from Eturia after Emingard took over the throne. She always has troops pursuing her, and the chase led her to Badon, where she got caught up in a pirate skirmish that lasted for a moment. In order to lose those who were after her, she decided to follow Elaine and Luther to Bern.
Locke: Locke's story is so engrained in Elaine's and Mellia's, I see no need in repeating this three times... mad

((I have decided to start, for glory or for bust. Only the winds of fate can tell. Of course, I'm personally hoping for glory, lol. lol
I still need Denko's male lead, Brolem to resubmit Jian if he's going to. Last names for characters that currently don't have one would be nice too, unless you don't want to provide one, which is okay too. I also need proficient profiles on Leon, Theo, and Gabriel. Other than that, we are pretty much good to go. To stop a rerun, I'll change many things considerably. It's going to be like a completely different adventure, although the first few plot steps are going to be the same.))

This was a pretty miserable night. Nothing seemed to be going according to what was expected. Outside was a gigantic snowstorm, that was constantly littering the landscape with an unending torrent of snow. The violence of the storm fluxuated, calming down one moment, and then increasing in violence the next moment. The wind was turbulent to the point where you could be indoors and still hear the wind racing through the evergreens outside. It was a bit unsettling. Because it was night, going outside in these conditions was tantamount to commiting suicide. Nobody execpt a polar bear would last any longer than 5 minutes. Most sad of all, this was an average winter night in the land of Ilia, the essential optiome of poverty.

Many of the dwellings in Ilia were sturdily made and withstood the violent snow and winds, because they would've been swept away a looooong time ago if they hadn't been so well made. Of course, not everyone had a place to call home, but do not fear for them. This is not the only snowstorm in the history of Ilia. They have lived until now, so certainly they had their methods of self-preservation that was effective enough to last them the night. And then there was Castle Ilia, the headquarters of the Ilian Royal Family. All who remained of the Royal Lineage was the King, who sat on the throne, and his daughter, the Princess of Ilia. Her name is Lise Rolante Misener, but she also acknowledges the simpler name of just "Lise", which she shall be referred to as hereinafter. Without a male successor to claim the throne after the king, Lise became the country's heir.

User Image
Of course, none of that is on her mind right now. Her only thought at the moment was to shake off all the snow that had quickly accumulated on her. She thought that she would NEVER be able to get out of her room, since the entrance was guarded by two men. Normally, there was supposed to be a shift in personel at the top of the hour, but with the snowstorm, there was no need to move the guards around since the outside patrol was not needed this night. Figures the blasted storm would decide to come this night. The only other way out was through a window... into the storm. She had to negotiate the rugged, blistery ledge of the castle walls to get to the next available window. Her room was one story high, not a fatal fall, but still a dangerous gamble. Thankfully she wasn't caught on the way, because there was no outside patrol on this wintery night. Even more thankfully, there was nobody guarding this window or the area around it.

Lise had to make haste, because she was going to meet with a few ((two)) friends at a designated rendezvous point near the east back entrance on the castle. You would wonder what was so important about this meeting that would prompt a royal princess to brave a storm on a questionable ledge just to attend. Of course, we'll just have to wait and see. She hustled down a path that led to the rendezvous point, and it was getting darker, since this area was less occupated, less guarded. In fact, she didn't meet up with any trouble getting to this point at all. But, she was late with all the obstacles and all.

Terra sighed looking out her window. Outside in the setting sun, was Fie. She was chasing a small dog around the Ostian castle but if they were playing a chasing game. The dog was winning.
Terra's mother came into the room.
"Hello darling. Wow little Fie sure has alot of energy for a seven year old."
Fie must have faintly heard this because she looked up and yelled to the two noblewomen.
Hi missus Marquess! Hi Terra!
Terra tossed the book she was reading over her shoulder and it landed on her large bed.
mother. Why must I sit in this room all day to read that book!
"Darling, This book was written by your ancestor, Hector of Ostia."
And I do not care. That book is so old and I cannot read read any more of it. All lord Hector complains about is how is loyal spy, Matthew got him into all these things.
Terra's mother ran out the door as Fie ran down the hall and knocked over an expensive vase.
"Fie! please stop..." Her mother's voice faded as Terra shut the door.
Terra looked out the window and soon fell asleep in the chair she was sitting in.

[Using a little trick I picked up in FeFiRo. <3 It helps with a few things.]

Replying as Harmony in Ilia to...
Lise.

It was insane. Why she had agreed to meet Lise /this/ night, of all nights, Harmony was rethinking as she stared out of her window. It was the only way; all of the guards were inside, since there was no need for guard outside on a night like this. For Harmony, her reason was this: why go outside if it's so bad that the guards aren't even out there?!
She had let out a breath, though, when she realized it was the only way. Lise had made her meeting sound important; besides, both she and Theo would be there, so all wouldn't be for naught.

Harmony, finally deciding that snow wasn't all that bad, opened her window. She immediately changed her mind as she stepped out onto the ledge, but nonetheless shut the window behind her. Normally she would have recognized that as a bad move, and if she could even recognize her own hand in front of her face as a pile of snow plowed into her head, she probably would have.
She growled curses, rambling about how she was going to kill Lise, but soon moved along. Luckily it wasn't too long a journey, but she hated traveling like she was; with the possibility of falling and all, knowing that she would only land in a gigantic pile of cold, wet snow. This thought did not help as she manuevered herself around more windows.
Soon, though, she arrived at the path leading to Lise's little meeting spot. She sighed in relief, glad to have finally reached it. As she walked, she tried to get off most of the snow that had piled up on her outfit and hair. She soon spotted Lise up ahead.
"Oi! Lise!" Harmony hissed loudly, scurrying to catch up with her. "You picked the perfect night, huh?"

((The Lord of Affection has been decided. While Jian will/might still exist, Darius will be the LoA, and thus the reason for a journey. Unfortunately, Denko hasn't given him a profile, so I don't know anything about him. I'll have to stay vauge.))

In theory, Lise was not as late as she was expecting. When she thought about it, both Harmony and Theo would have to overcome the same obstacles. In fact, it would probably be worse for Theo, since he was not exactly a resident of the castle. There was a designated quarter for troops of the army, while Lise and Harmony had their own rooms. Since troops essentially lived together, it would be hard to sneak out without being noticed. Hopefully, Theo had thought up a way...

Lise was amply tired from all the running she had to do to reach this spot as punctually as she could. When she arrived, only Harmony was there.
Quote:
"Oi! Lise!" Harmony hissed loudly, scurrying to catch up with her. "You picked the perfect night, huh?"

Lise bowed apologetically, "I'm sorry! I had no idea tonight was going to be so terrible! ... Well, I did... but that's sorta why I chose tonight too." Lise glanced around, wondering if Theo was about to stumble upon them, "... Have... have you seen Theo?"

User ImageThe wind had calmed as Zephr walked through the plains. He had lost sight of his companions in the battle. He walked cautiously and stumbled frequently while doing so.

As he walked he came across a dead bandit whose head was severed from his body. He pulled back and covered his mouth. "After all I have been through," he sighed, "you would think that I could handle things like this." Zephr was now staggering about aimlessly.

As the sun began to set he calmed himself and decided to rest for the night. As he sat on the ground he reminised about what he had been through, yet as he did so he was shot at by a bandit that had seemed to follow him. The arrow missed and Zephr drew his blades, "s**t...Why the hell would some bandit be so intent on finding me!?"

He had few options, run and die, or fight and possibly live. He charged the bow-man, but then noticed that there were two soldiers and three bandits there awaiting his arrival.

The bow-man shouted orders to the bandits and they moved accordingly, but soon fell dead. A bolt of lightning had struck him. Zephr was going to make it out alive.

As the bandit fell, the 3 Bandits turned to see what the enemy looked like. Just then two of them fell dead, and a figure with a large black scarf could be seen next to the now dead bodies. The other bandit attempted to escape, but Zephr slashed at the bandit four times, at which he fell dead.

Then as the soldiers lowered their lances to the two sword wielders, a sword sliced through one. The other caught off guard pulled back, but was met with Zephr. The tow stared at each other until Zephr vanished, appeared in front of the bandit, thrust his blades into the weak points in the armor near on the upper torso, and flipped himself over the soldier.(Critical)

As the soldier fell, dead Zephr sat down and sighed. "That was not pleasant....and it was too close for comfort." He looked to the two warriors before him, "Thanks Hare and Ryu."

User Image - Blocked by "Display Image" Settings. Click to show.Hare smirked, "Not a problem Zephr, but I thought I told you not to go wandering off in the middle of a fight?"

Zephr lowered his head, "But it was dark...and foggy...and.....I got lost..."

User ImageRyu looked at Zephr and said not a word. He simply stood there.

User ImageHare noticed this, "Ryu, calm down. It's O.K. After all the fact of the matter is that he's safe and he seems to be of use in a fight."

User Image"....True enough...."

User ImageHare motioned Zephr to stand, and then pulled the book he had stashed in his cloak and began to read. Their journey hadn't even started yet on the majestic plains of Sacea.

Leth hid herself in the shadows. The darkness was like a great spreading veil, making it difficult to see for all, except her. She was used to these long nights of waiting and had grown used to the sight, today’s target being the local tavern, where many travelling merchants would often go in for a cool ale to quench their thirst. It was those people who were the easiest prey. They left their carts unattended when they went in, and once they’d finally staggered out, nothing was left for them to sell.

She knew that her name was well known throughout the streets. The shopkeepers and traders feared it even, and that thought amused her. The legendary Shadow of Ilia, so called because of her ability to disappear before anyone knew that anything was stolen. She liked the name. But here comes a drunk. His legs were swaying as he walked towards his goods. It was time to act.

Leth crept underneath the wooden wheels, he wouldn’t be moving so soon and was probably asleep already at the reins. The back was locked, as usual, but no lock was any match for her nimble fingers. The door swung open with a click, and she stepped inside, covering her face with a long, grey scarf. It was dark, but she could see the outlines of boxes of various materials. Fleeces of wool and silk ribbons hung on the walls, and she had to stifle a laugh as she easily took them, but only enough so it wouldn’t make her struggle to get away.

She then walked up to she snoring merchant and cut his coin pouch. It was all too easy. "Farewell, fool," she sneered as she left the oaf and scaled up the rooftops for shelter. The old attic she used for storing was very full now, and pretty soon, somewhere new would have to be found.

*plays evil castle conspiracy theme song*

Emingard, now self appointed high ruler of Eturia, the top dog, the almighty, sits on his well earned throne, marveling at how great he is. What sheer genius was used to obtain his new founded status as KING! He had all he wanted now, a nice throne to sit on, a very dandy king's cape, a mountain of gold behind his throne, which he specifically ordered for. Yes, he ordered his minnions to take some of the funds out of the vault and to stack it behind his throne. Now he was free to feel his money whenever he pleased; to let the money roll off of his fingers because there was just so much of it. There were also a couple servant maidens doing that fanning thing with giant fans that resembled peacock feathers to complete the enemble.

He was living quite large, wondering whether he should raise taxes a little more... This heap behind him did seem to be getting noticably smaller. Or should he extract clemency from his infinite mercy and allow the peoples to continue paying the abhorrent amount of money they were paying without the small boost. His daydreaming was halted when a soldier came into the room.

"Lord Emingard! I come to report!" Emingard was too mighty, too good to even open his eyes to make eye contact.

"Go on, servant. But, it had better be good news."

"Um... We have found no sign of the Kin... I mean the former King's son, Darius. We have reason to believe he is running for the boarder in order to seek help from Lycia." The great and all powerful Emingard certainly didn't fear any of this trivial news.

"Bah! I fear nobody. Lycia cannot stop me. Darius cannot stop me. I have the might of Eturia behind me, not to mention my own personal fighting force. I am invincible. It's time that whelp learned that. Nobody runs from me. How is the boarder patrol along the path leading to Ostia?"

"We strengthened it just recently, but he is a single person and is cunning. It would be easy... I mean easier for him to... maybe squeeze by without being detected."

"Well, I sure hope, for your sake, that he does not get by. Do you understand?" The guard sweatdropped and left swiftly. Emingard shifted back into daydream mode, as he grabbed an apple from this plate of fruit placed right next to him. The apple was very delicious, but when you are rich, everything tastes good!

Terra was aware of the unrest in Etruria and was worried. Was the mage General okay? What of the Etrurian King's family?
Now was not the time for such things.

Terra? Heelo! Miss Lazy! Fie was following Terra.

Fie? Could you stay out here. I need to speak with the Marquess... I mean, father.

Fie shrugged then ran from Terra and out the Castle gates to ride her horse.

Father I must speak with you.
Yes? Terra what is it?
Etruria! You know something is wrong! Prince Darius is missing and I think someone has overthrown the Etrurian government.
Terra. I will assure you there is nothing wrong there. I will be gone tomorrow for a Lycian Alliance Meeting. You AND Fie WILL stay IN the castle. Do you understand me?

Terra sighed and shook her head yes. She then went outside and watched Fie play. She looked Northeast toward Etruria and began to think.

Darius was a clever man, a very clever man indeed. Upon Emingard coming to power, he had found a place to stay immediately, even before the taking over was complete. The sewer system was not exactly home for a man of royal blood, but in these circumstances he didn't mind at all. He had time to think, and realized what he had to do.
It was evening of his third day in the sewers, and he looked above the trapdoor and saw darkness approaching. Stealthily, as to not attract attention, he crept out and took cover in the shadows. He had come out just near the gates of the royal city. He had planned this all out in his head many times. He would sneak past the guards and scale a building to jump over the city walls and land in the moat. He knew it was just deep enough. The problem was keeping quiet enough to dive in without being heard. He had one shot to get help in Lycia.
Running on his tiptoes, he snuck past one, two, three guards on patrol. Luckily, none noticed him. Even if they did, the dark would hide his face unless he got too close. Grabbing a stone ladder to the top of a two- story house, he went up nimbly and breathed a sigh of relief. Landing on the roof, he kicked up a bit of dirt in the air. Barely able to stifle the cough, his heart thumped in his chest. He was close to being caught.
He assesed the situation. Two guards were posted on the walls, looking in the other direction. He knew he would get caught if he tried to jump to the walls now. Luckily, he had planned for this. He grabbed two small daggers out of his trenchcoat. Uncorking a flask of snake venom, he poured it over the two blades, to make sure they would kill their targets. He threw them, and to his joy, they struck both guards in the backs of their necks at about the same time.
Wasting no time, he climbed the wall from the roof and made it over. Taking a deep breath, he dove headfirst into the moat. He had quite incredible luck, for he dove at just the right angle, minimizing the splash noise. It sounded to those who heard like an animal landing in the water.
With a gasp, Darius rose to the surface and was shivering vigorously. He swam quietly as possible to the land and sprinted at full speed until his legs gave out. Turning back, he was a good mile from the castle. It was dark enough that, hopefully, he had not been seen at all.
And then he remembered the bodies. Blast! They would know he had escaped when they found the bodies of the guards! He cursed at his lack of careful planning and jogged on in the night.
He made stops every three hours or so, and met no trouble on the roads, but just in case, he stayed off the beaten path by about fifty feet to the right. Just after the third stop, he found an inn. Assuring himself that he needed it, he stole a horse. This sped up his journey considerably.
On the fifth day, he was starving, and weary. Finally, he came upon Lycia's capitol city, and his spirits rose. He yelled to guards to let him in. Astounded when they noticed the immediately recognizable face, they let him in. Without a thanks, he sped to the front of the castle and dismounted. He ran in, and asked to see the royal family. Hopefully, they would hear his plea. He would not let his efforts go so easily.

The three had just set out again into the darkness. Zephr was not young on the road, but he still had his city legs. He constantly stumbled and grew weary from traveling within short amounts of time.

Hare, noticing Ryu's glance spoke to Zephr again, "So...what exactly were you doing in Sacea? It is a long way from Bern."
