I was told that I shouldnt give my infant a bath daily and especially because he is a premie. I was wondering your thoughts on this because we enjoy the ritual of getting the nice lavender bath and then putting lotion on and cuddling before bed. Will this dry his skin out too much? What problems can it cause if its so bad? Has anyone else heard this?

Well, I'm still thirteen. Don't know much about newborns, considering I'm still an innocent little virgin.

I love the ritual as well, but you are probably better off just bathing every other day. Preemie's skin is so delicate and the water can really dry it out. Even now I don't bathe my son everyday because doing so seems to give him patches of dry skin.
I'd say start with every other day and then work up to more as the baby's skin allows. If dry skin doesnt seem to be a problem then I don't see why you can't bathe daily.
