Oh I just now remember that I wanted to make a post in here about which is your favorite song in the Slayers series. Make a post and tell us what your favorite song is and why.
I have a few I like a lot myself actually... 3nodding heart It's hard to pick only one! And even so I had to make my list kind of short.. ^^;
Give a Reason - I like the words to the song, in translation and the connection to the series of NEXT.
MidnightBlue - When I first heard this song I really loved it. The melody is so nice and it's hard not to sing along to it.
Gloria ~Kimi ni Todoketai - I like this one because of the rythme beat and melody as well. I don't know much about what it translates to but I still love it. ^^
Saikou no Gamble (Risky Gamble) - I really love the beat to this. Everytime I hear this song I want to dance and sing to it. It's really up lifting, and even though there isn't a translation of this song that I've found, I still really like the meaning to it. Some of the meaning I got from my own (weak) attempt to translate it... >>;;;; xDDDD;;;;;
Those are all of my VERY favorite songs in Slayers. I can't wait to hear what everyone else's are and why. >w<

My Favs are:
-Don't Be Discuraged,
-Breeze,
-Give a Reason.
-There are alot more...because I just love her voice...Megumi Hayashibara...

Yeah she has an awesome voice. And she does so many different series it's so amazing and it's fun to pin point where she'll be next. x3
You know what I think is kind of annoying is how people who watch Slayers for the first time fall in love with Get Along... I mean yeah it's a good song, but there ARE others. And they ARE even better... So don't just go getting hung up on the first opening cuz that's just stupid... xp *has strong opinions* sweatdrop

lol. I see where your getting at. But in my opinion get Along is an awesome song. It's acctully my favorite...tied with Raging Waves. And to put it another way. It's the "original" theme. First season. fisrt song kidda thing. There are alot of awesome songs that go with the series...of course. I love Exit Running, Give A Reason, Don't Be Discouraged and I'll Never Give Up. I also love the octopus song...don't know the real name of it...oh well. And the song Lina and Amelia sang in that episode of NEXT...complelty and totally awesome. the song spoke to me! lol. But, basiclly I love all the songs. I think Slayers songs, no matter how many times you listen to them, they never get boring, and they really bring up your spirits when you're down. And because Megumi Hayashibara and Masami Okui both have beautiful voices.

I just realized what that song was. I had it, loved it, but didn't know the name of it, till a friend told me..lol. That is an awesome song though.

I like Breeze, Give a Reason, Somewhere, Fair Wind, Alone, Waru -Bad Blood-, and Good Luck. I never get tired of these songs, no matter how many times I hear them. XD. Then again.. most of the other Slayers songs are this way, too. ^^;.

My favorite? That's hard. mostly Midnight Blue, Exit Running, Breeze, Rumba Rumba, Anata wa Takogo, Feel Well ,Give a Reason, Just be Conscious, Raging Waves and Senjou no Madonna. Basically all of them. Especially, Sasurai!!! So beautiful!! 2 minutes of pleasure. Did anyone know Megumi's selling an acostic version of Give a Reason? And I think a new song for Slayers but I can't remember...

I love pretty much anything that Megumi Hayashibara sung, some favorites including Breeze and Give a Reason.
While not exactly Slayers materiel, Origa is an amazing singer, who did the openings for Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex.
