I'll just restate my descriptions as well. Castlevania Curse of Darkness reminds some of us about the Devil May Cry series. In this game you are a Devil Forgemaster with IDs aka Demons. Action RP is like storyline and some other form of RP. So, as I like to do is an Action RP. Some examples are below this.
Actions are started with (*) that in the beginnig. Then you may do what you want. Don't forget to talk though!
Example;
"Hector, you think you can beat me? Let's see your power and your skills! *Swings out Chave-Souris and points the tip at Hector.
"Isaac... I don't have to think... I will beat you!" *Summons Demon Daidel, and pulls out Basterd Sword. **Tells Daidel to use exploding circle.
The (**) double of those show that your doing another action.

So a backround story you would like eh? Fine, how about the prolouge.
1476, Valachia
A great war raged between Dracula and humanity. Just when it seemed that thre was no hope for mankind to prevail, out of the darkness and despair, a champion arose- a true-blooded vampire hunter named Trevor Belmont.
Belmont and his comrades triumphantly slew Lord Dracula- a truly glorious victory for all. However, the evil one did nto pass from this world in silence. With his final words, Lord Dracula left a demonic curse the enshrouded all of Europe in misery and torment.
Ravaged by hideous plague and dire famine, the people's hearts turned black and murderous. The weak were slain without pity, while the land was pillaged and scourged without remorse.
Three years have passed since the death of Lord Dracula- and the invocation of Dracula's Curse.

Dante spawn of Sparda can I be Dante from DMC1 then? Or is this strictly COD? confused Oh and can you state a background story please? 3nodding This is stricly COD. You must be a character from COD to parcitapate. Though, I will allow only SWORDS from DMC. This is only COD.
