Am I the only person who didn't understand that scene where Marlene asks Vincent "Do you have it?" then he lifts his cloak and she goes like "I can't believe it!" and then I'm like "WTF? Is he showing her something that I can't see?"
I didn't figure it out till like, weeks later when I read it in a FAQ. sweatdrop

They were looking for Cloud's phone in that Marlene, Cloud, Vincent Scene....however, I am unsure as to WHY vincent did that...
And when he was looking for the phone shop? He was looking for a place to get Cloud another phone...and possibly one for himself...?

No that was Cloud's phone that was dropped. There was an issue with the subbing that made it difficult to understand.
***SPOILERS?***
Marlene: I want to talk to Tifa!
*Cloud looks about himself, note he doesn't even look like he's looking for his phone, (most people start digging into their pockets, myself included razz more like he's uncomfortable with the situation. Initially I thought she meant she wanted to go home and see Tifa. Marlene then turns to Vincent*
Marlene: Do you have it?
*here I'm like... "have what?" And then Vincent does the whole cloak raising thing and I'm like "...WTF."*
Marlene: I can't believe it!

I think if she'd said "Have one", instead of "have it" or he shook his head or something it'd have been easier to understand. XD

bookwormzes ....however, I am unsure as to WHY vincent did that... It is because Vincent has a very hidden sense of humour, I'll bet. He is actually extremely hilarious sometimes, it's just not usually recognized because of his calm, serious demeanor.

Vincent musta got it out fer 'im. I thought the phone dropping into the water came after that scene though, because it showed all of the people trying to call Cloud. Wasn't Vincent in that mess as well? I remember that Yuffie and Barret were in it as well... I think Tifa might have tried calling too. *can't remember all that well* I should watch the movie again tomorrow for a memory refresher. *nods*
