Hello Everyone! Welcome to the Gryffindor Common Room!
The Gryffindor Common Room is used by all Gryffindors only! No other house is allowed. Use the common room for chatting, doing homework, or anything else! (Except OCC, that you do in the OCC thread! sweatdrop )
The description is provided below:
A cozy round room, full of squashy armchairs. The walls were covered in scarlet red, and pillars of gold. A huge lit fireplace stood in the right part of room. A two-seater couch stood a few feet in front of it, and two couches on either side. A round table stood in the center of the room, with a few stools set around it. Squashy pale yellow armchairs filled different spaces of the room. Two stairs going the opposite way, led up the different dormitories. The left, leading up to the girls; and the right to the boys.
Okay! That's it for the Gryffindor Common Room! Have fun rping! The other two will be the Girls & Boys Dorms! That won't be much, but I'll improvise.. wink

...after running away from the nosy people in the dorm, she sits down on the mat in front of the fire, absently conjuring pictures in the flames, after a while she gets up realising she doesnt know when her classes are and decides to ask the girl in the dorm..

after an encounter to a 7th year, he dashed through corrider and hurried to the stairs to enter the gryffindor tower. and found a soft chair that could give him an idea of somethingelse to do fter an encounter with a cute 7th year!!!

*Not seeing anyone she recognized, Slainte got a good book & curled up in front of Fireplace, on the floor. Nothing like a good book! she thought to herself as she read, enjoying the silence*

Hi! I sure am! Does it show? I'm reading a play by Sophocles! It's called Oedipus the King! ((I actually a reading that in real life, lol, It's the only book I could think of! ))So, how long have you been here?"

((Okay. We discussed this in the DADA thread, now I'll post here:
When you RP. RP as you'd like! I have no problem in that, but please follow these guidelines atleast:
Thoughts: Either in ' ' or in Italics
Dialogues: " " ONLY! Don't change the font color or anything. Just use the quotations!
Actions: NARRATE THEM! Do Not Use The * * Signs! The whole point of RPing is to NARRATE your actions.
As long as you follow those RPing guidelines, you can do as you please (by the rules!) And I really appreciate it! This helps all of us raed, understand and enjoy the RP a lot more! Thank you!!!

Jamie looked round the room from where she was sitting near the window, her eyes looking out of focus as she stared into the fire which was burning in the fireplace surrounded by chairs. Obviously in deep thought she began humming quite loudly to herself but stopped abruptly when a few girls studying nearby shot her a look. Sighting Jamie pushed herself up from her telescope near the open window and moved to sit on one of the chairs closer to the fire to warm up.

Here:
Emma walked into the common room for the first time. A feeling of warmth washed over her, making her smile. "This place it great!" She squealed in delight. "Anyone in here?" She looked around, but didn't have a clue what to do. Being new was difficult because she carried the burden of not knowing where to go, or what was needed of her.
