RULES

1. Posts, on average, must be one to two decently-sized paragraphs.

2. Petty insults, godmoding, onelining and other such indecent things will not be tolerated.

3. Proper spelling and grammar is necessary. Typos do occur, but we hope that you can at least try to fix them. If you are unsure about the spelling of a word and your text editing program [eg. Microsoft Word] does not correct it or does not have the right word, you may put (sp?)after the word. Someone will correct you.

4. Please remember: this is a historical roleplaying guild. Anyone that uses magic or does anything unnatural will be arrested and burnt at the stake. That is: no magic or anything fantasy is allowed. There are exceptions, however. If, say, you want to roleplay the Salem Witch Trials, then obviously your character has the right to risk themselves and be a witch. Likewise, the belief in vampires, and that the world was flat with mythical monsters lurking at the ends. But there can be nothing that is not based on fact, or at the very least, ardent belief of the masses.

5. This guild will encompass roleplays dating from the Great Depression (the most recent one), backwards. Roleplays based on one particular period rather than one particular event are also allowed.

6. All roleplays must be active. That's a keyword, kids. Active. Roleplays that have not been posted in for over two weeks will be disposed of. The creator of the thread will be warned after a week's period of inactivity. OOC [Out of character] posts do not count as activity.
Please note: This rule will not be enforced until the guild has properly taken off.

7. Rules may be subject to change. If this occurs you will be notified by an announcement.

8. [.bedazzled.] and I [Kattanie] are the ultimate bosses. What we say goes. What we do goes even more. We can kick you out or delete your posts/threads without warning, if needed.

9. Please provide a RP sample when applying for this guild.

10. As Mods have the super cool power to edit your posts you can tell who it was by the following key.
-Liz ([.bedazzled.]) edits in dark blue but roleplays in indigo
-Kat (Kattanie) edits in orange!! but roleplays and posts in green!!

11. Keep to the Gaia T.O.S.!! They are there for a reason and must be adhered to or the entire guild risks being deleted :0!! So keep to them, or we will kick you out, utilising our awesome ultimate-boss powers! [see rule 8]

12. Fictional events and locations based on actual times, events, etc. are also allowed, as are roleplays based on historically-based books, movies, etc. However, don't make a million based on the same one, nor on the same event as an already existing, active roleplay. However, just remember you can't change absolutely everything: credibility is the key. And never even touch trying to change the laws of physics. That annoys me..er..us so.
