I really like the song snowblind. I really like Black Sabbath. I really like System of a Down. What does this have to do with anything? Well, SOAD made a cover of Snowblind sometime either before or after the realease of thier sophmore album toxicity. My question to fellow guild members is, have you heard the cover? and What do you think of it? I personally love it, its set a faster beat but its badass. Thier guitarist, Daron Malakian, descibes their cover as a salsa/ james brown version of snowblind. Its really good, I like it as much as the orginal version, which is a big deal becaue I usually hate covers.

well, i havn't heard it but i think it would sound cool with more bpm (beats per minute)

It was ok... but not something I can listen to over and over again, like the original... They cut out the best part of the song too, THE SOLO!!!!

to me guitar solo's are the climax of a song. reason numero uno i didn't like st. anger but thats besides the point.

I think it's amazing. I usually find most covers to not do songs justice, and Black Sabbath is a band often imitated and rarely imitated right. I loved what they did with this though, they made the song fresh and new while still being the same song, and it's a good listen. The original is better, yes, but I think it's a very good song.
Yes, no solo, but still good.
