Well, for my return, I figured I would start a little contest.
DA RULZ, YO: Simple enough. As the subject suggests, this is a Poem writing contest open to all members of the Guild. All you need to do is write a poem (approx. 100 words or less, give or take) about any aspect of Chrono Trigger. Characters, story line, whatever you can think of. Go nuts, use your imagination. Post your poem here, and at the end of the contest I will announce a winner.
Oh, and DON'T STEAL OTHER PEOPLES POEMS!!! If any of the moderators or myself come across a poem that is a little bit too much like another one, it will be deleted and the member will be disqualified. C'mon people, it's just a contest. Don't be a cheater, yo.
DEADLINE: The contest will officially end May 31st, 2006. So you have some time to get those creative juices flowing. However, at the end of the contest, you can still feel free to post poems, if you'd like. Actually, please do! I love poems heart
PRIZE: TBA (that's To Be Announced, for all of you...great...people out there)
Well...ummm...let the poem contest officially begin, then!

Jagged peaks of red The head's spikey barrier A crimson sunset
I wrote a crappy haiku to get things started.

Yes, yes, Haiku's welcome
He speaks of red hair Is he referring to me? Or to the hero?
(That's not my poem submission, just a little retalliation --- I will not be participating in this contest, being the judge and all)

Someone esle follow soon...Under the glance of a Cat's Eye,
Lightness will not previel..Dawn of uncertiny,Raises a New Hero...
With light shines all...bringing mercy and Grace!

I hate poems, other than writing a paper it was the worst, more mind numbingly difficult thing to do. So with that said....
I would look everywhere everywhere imaginable every mountainside every body of water every planet everywhere I would do anything build any weapon forge any sword betray my morals and kill anyone and anything, over and over again IF I thought that for one moment It would help me find you......sweet Rose my Foxfire.

Eyes Turned Towards A Never Ending Darkness Cold Shadowed Despair And A Lost Memory Her Name Still Wet On His Lips He Calls To Her. Silence Is Her Response Hot Tears Run Down The Cold Face Of A Hardened Soul Wishing He Could Save Her Wishing He Could Save Them Both Wishing He Could Have Saved Himself Wounds Of The Past Grip His Heart, But His Heart Must Stay Cold The Cold Is All That Kept His Wounds Sealed And Silently He Watches The Wind The Black Wind Begins To Howl

Well then, looks like ti's time to post my fansonnet. It's utter schlock, more sap than a sugar maple, and people tend not to agree with it, but: Frog The past is past, be it for good or ill, But that black day of your last fateful fight My body changéd form against mine will. Alas, I know not whether it be right – I could not spill the feelings within me. The Magus struck thee down; I could not move And all that I could think about was thee, And yet, I never did confess my love. I had, dear Cyrus, often longed for thee, But I, in fear, could never find a word. But even though thou must think ill of me, Forever I shall honor thee with sword. But may it be we never are apart As long as I hold thee within my heart. I SWEAR HE'S GAY. I SWEAR IT.

Not bad, not bad...
If I had more time tonight, I'd come up with something.
But, since I'm tired and still recovering from getting totally f-ing drunk yesturday from being depressed over my lame job (Burger King), I'm afraid I'm not very creative right now... bummer...

Far above the dreams of men, the sole guardian of the skies. Lies the mysterious omen, that shall be the world's demise.
Time, life, and reason, does little to secure, the future of these seasons, until that fateful year.
Six shall board the omen, flyings with wings of time, to undo the ancient curse, that will claim our lives.
