Description:
You walk up into a barely lit room, the fireplace, alone, basically provides the lighting. The fireplace breathes purple flames, due to the spell that Professor Kandi put on it. There are no chairs to be seen, but only soft, black and white cushions shaped as skulls are scattered around the floor and a worn black leather lazy boy chair for the professor in the far right corner. In front of the chair is the professor’s desk, a lighted artist’s desk. The desk is also decorated with photos and post-it notes, which lesson plans are scribbled upon them. Next to the desk, there is a silk gray colored cushion, in which Professor Kandi’s black cat, Mascara, sleeps on. The scarlet walls are decorated with paintings, some by the professor, and there’s also a large mirror that faces the whole class. At the bottom left corner there is a large closet where all the materials for class are kept. Leaning against the walls are bookshelves filled with mostly divination books covered in dust, giving a hint that they haven’t been touched in a long time. A couple of dust-free book shelves are spotted close by the professor’s desk, which are filled with books of dark poetry, suspense novels, and mangas. The aroma of rain fills the air of the classroom, due to the few sticks of incense burning around the room.
Professor:
Professor Sri Kandi is 22 years old. She has little patience for stupidity and happy people usually tick her off. Kandi is the kind of person that tends to be a bit lazy and selfish, which means that she usually puts her self first then her students. Instead of helping students during class, she just draws and sometimes, totally ignores the classroom. She may even tend to fall a sleep in class. But besides from that, she could be friendly if you don’t piss her off. Oh and a slight warning, don’t try to pet Mascara if you’re one of those really happy people. Chances are she’ll bite your hand off.

Sri hastily climbed up into the room and plopped down on a pile of cushions. "Lesson plans my a**." She yawned and fell into a deep slumber.

Zoshii Sri hastily climbed up into the room and plopped down on a pile of cushions. "Lesson plans my a**." She yawned and fell into a deep slumber. Sri awoken from her nap, covered in cold sweat. She had just experienced one of her usual nitemares again, but strangly this one was different. She dreamt of a.....well to be frank Sri had no idea what kind of monster was lurking in her dream. All she remembered was staring into his faceless head and the grass dying with every step he took. With a quick splish of water, she got up and decided to draw the monster from her nitemare.

Sri walked up the classroom and laid her bag on her desk. She glances at the clock quickly as if she’s in a rush. Then Sri walked in front of the classroom. “Everyone pull out something to write with. I have to leave in 5 minutes and I’m not repeating anything. If you miss something I advise you to go ask a friend.” She glances at the clock again then back to the class. “Okay! Today we’re learning about tarot cards. I know what you’re thinking. They’re just silly, useless cards that muggles use to tell each other’s fortune. One, they are not silly nor are they useless. There’s proof all around us that tarot cards are real and effective. And two, yes muggles use them, but they are using them wrong. In order to read tarot cards properly you can not use them out of want. Having the person just shuffle the cards up isn’t going to work. The cards only work when conjured with magic and only work if you’re asking a question out of a need.”
Sri grabs a deck of tarot cards off her desk and glances at the clock again. She points to the deck in the palm of her hand and the cards float up above her, each card neatly lined up. “Each card has a name: The Magician, the Empress, the Fool, the Wheel of Fortune, Strength, and so forth. They represent challenges and tests, twists of fate. No card is good or all bad. Cards can be positive or negative depending on where they fall. When you read someone’s future, they must think of a question. They must hold it in their mind. The cards are read in sequence; each cards leads to the next.” The cards above her formed into a deck and started to shuffle themselves. After doing so, they formed into three separate piles. Sri pointed her wand at the cards and muttered. “Findilleus Gadra!” The cards began to glow a soft yellow. A card separated off the third pile and turned over to reveal ‘Five of Cups’. “We move from terror and loss,” A card detached itself from the first pile and turned over revealing ‘Ten of Cups’. “To unexpected good fortune,” A card flipped over from the second pile revealing ‘The Star’. “And out of darkness, hope is born.”
Sri looks up at the clock and gasps. “I can’t explain your homework! Just pass around this sheet.” She grabs a piece of parchment off her desk and throws it to the closest person next to her. “I’m late, I’m late, for a very important date! No time to say hello, goodbye! I’m late, I’m late, I’m late! No, no, no, no, no, no, no, I’m overdue. I’m really in a stew. No time to say goodbye, hello! I’m late, I’m late, I’m late!” ((Sorry, I couldn’t resist.))

Rachelle walked into class. Having a much better day. So relaxed and everything. She saw her friend Aura. She walked over and put her stuff down next to her and then sat down next to her. "Wut up girl!" she said kind of loud. Then she looked toward the bored and looked at her homework assignment Arcana cards?? She didnt understand at all. She looked totaly confused. "man what is this!?!?" she thought.

A few minutes later, she finished and stood up. "Yo, where do we turn it in? " she ask Aura. "oh wait nevermind" she said, she was just going to put it on her desk. She walked back to the table. "Well im out Aura, Ill holla at you later. CYA!" she grabed her things and bounced out of there. "Dang that was and easy start to the day, hopes its going to be a better day. "she said hopefuly as she exited the room.

Reya walked into the Divination classroom. Wow, nice decor, she thought as she looked around. She plopped down on a cushion and copied down the homework. What a bunch of nonsense, she though. Since when can cards help tell the future?

Kaya walked into class after studying for Dada. "Neat. This should be interesting." After looking at the board, Kaya started to work on the homework that was given. "This doesn't look to bad. Done." Kaya handed it over, left, and started towards the Slythrine common room.
