To prevent more off-topic-ness. kurai007 [off topic] Whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa. You did not just say Lord ELIWOOD sucked! Yeah, okay, yes he does. As a lord. But premoted, which I spelt wrong, he kicks everyone's a**. Including that Lyndis. It wasn't too long, people complained it was short. But then again, I got tired of hearing Lyn talk all the time. Be happy your little, Un-Pansy Ike is level 20. I'm on chapter 15, and that b*****d is like, level 7. I abuse Soren too much. I just realized, every main FE character is a pansy loser. Besides Eprhaim and Ike. Marth is the pansy-est of them all. As for the FE games, I'm missing 2 (FE1 is in Japanese, FE3-6 is in English. Though, FE3 is kind of glitchy for me). And uh yes, ROM pwnage right there. I have FE6 in English, I think my brother sent it to me. I'm not far in that game, I'm on chapter 9. All I can say is: "Though I love Roy so much, HE SUCKS a** so badly." It's not even funny. That's what I get for degrading to an old game. *curses you and your abbility to read Kanji and crap* I like FE7s music the best. I haven't met Idun yet, but I know her. And Nergal was an ugly little b*****d who needed to get laid and die a slow death. Not by Ahtos, by his mother. Now about FE8, to end my off-topic-ness. The start, I'll admit, is easy. But try Ephraim's path, he OWNS his stupid sister's path. I mean it, even for me, his quest is hard as buttons. Oh, the end boss, yeah, he owns Inu-yasha's a**. I SAID STOP DAMNIT.Okay, now I have your full attention. Keep in mind, people play the game differently than others. To be honest, Roy is MUCH, MUCH better than his stupid a** dad. Eilwood is even WORSE as a Knight Lord because he has longer range, so idiots could go and try to use him and get him killed off quickly. But why is this? Well, I have Ike in chp. 14 at Lv. 20, Roy is at level 10 on Chp. 7. First off, I can obviously see that since FE games have been released over in the states, the difficulty has been dumbed down BY A LOT. I wasn't having anyone die in the first five chp. of FE7 or FE9. What, does this mean I suck? Well, believe what you want to. Regardless, because people have different strategies and mind-sets, it makes such and such character better for them. In my case, Eliwood takes too long to level, and there's far too many spear-wielders in the first few chapters where you could raise his level like mad. Hector is more suitable because of this, thus Hector reigns supreme. Because if you were GOOD, Lyn should be aroung lv. 11 when she joins you anyways, and this is because you already raised her. Thus, Eliwood is the weak link. Maybe you did things a lot different, like taking your chances of Eliwood aganist a spear army. As for me, I'll go with the quickest way to victory. Other than battle themes, main character themes and the chapter summary area, practically ALL of FE7's OST comes from FE6. You cannot say FE7 is a good OST without saying FE6 is better, not possible. "Going My Way", "A Knight's Oath", Multiple Bern themes, then of course the few special tracks you can get in FE7's OST after doing certain things come DIRECTLY out of FE6's OST. As well, Roy is the only noble character in FE6, making the game not as frustrating as 7. That's MY strategy, so that's my thinking. Don't like it, sucks to be you, that's my opinion on all of it. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Use this thread to discuss Fire Emblem.

I fail at Fire Emblem. D: I keep on comparing it to Final Fantasy Tactics, which is stupid because they are COMPLETELY different. *whacks self*
Anywho, I borrowed 'Fire Emblem: The Sacred Stones' from Pistachi, and like, at least one character dies in every chapter. And whenever a character dies, I have to restart the chapter because I'm weird like that.
This just proves to show: Saraisha is Fire Emblem-ly inept.

I am STUCK on PoR. I try to go defeat the Black Knight with Ike and Aether won't activate. It pisses me off so much. D<

Eliwood does kinda . . . suck . . . horribly. Plus in no way is he cool, at least to me. The coolest FE lords to me are Roy and Ike. And I'm still wondering WHY THE HELL SoS WASN'T RELEASED IN AMERICA AFTER THE PREQUEL WHICH LEFT YOU ON A CLIFFHANGER WAS!!!!!!????? GRRRRR!
Plus I want to play as Roy. He's awesome is SSBM. And though I heard he wasn't the best in SoS I can always give him stat ups. But it really makes me mad because I've not been given the chance to take Japaneese yet.

*screams* Okay, I admit, Eliwood is a no good pansy. I don't even worship him like I worship Roy or Ephraim. But I think Eliwood has too many haters...poor man cries himself to sleep. gonk And the fact that the b*****d's cape flies around everyone, even his wives, makes it even more annoying. And no, no horse, not even the great Eliwood's, can jump that far in a Critical attack.
And for teh notez, Ephraim is teh best fracking Spearman in all of Fire Emblem. ******** PoR, I'm still on chapter 15.
