((start of page 900 RP Challange; I'm only quoting those posts I felt were Niabi or dance related.))
InfinitiesOfSoules Alexis uses his wings to thrum a fast-paced song, spinning around in a dance too.
Trelweny Nervously, Niabi skitters towards the other volu. With a bit of trepidation she skirts around the tail nibbling & pouncing with wide startled eyes.
MoogerMint Fortune waves his tail to make it more fun for Vanilla to try to catch.
InfinitiesOfSoules Galaxy laughed at the spinning. FUN! FUN! Vanilla squeaked, pouncing on Fortune's tail like a kitten. Ebony munched on more grubs. He was the glutton of the bunch.
MoogerMint Fortune giggled like a kid, enjoying seeing Vanilla so happy.
Trelweny brown ears laid backas her eyes widened in surprise. The jittery fawn colored volu was too like the nervous & easily startled fawns she bore the pattern of. Amidst her fear her stomache rumbled and her wide eyes turned anxious. Oh why had she not eaten at home?
InfinitiesOfSoules Priti chitters and points the tummy-rumbly volu towards the huge pile of leaves in the meadow.
Trelweny Ever so tentatively, Niabi wandered towards the eating volu. With a nerovus chitter she asked to have just one of the many grubs. Her stomache growled again; the grubs looked ever so tasty.
Trelweny Not getting a negative response, Niabi carefully grabbed one of the grubs on the outside farther from the engorging volu. It was quite small, but then so was she. Grabbing it between her teeth she scurried to a safe corner to suck on the jelly filled center of the grub while she watched the other volu with wide eyes.
InfinitiesOfSoules Vittorio joined Alexis, rubbing wings and making music.
MoogerMint Fortune leads Vanilla back into the clearing, smiling as he hears the music.
InfinitiesOfSoules Vanilla chittered praise for the music. It sounded fun to make! But sadly, she had no wings. u.u;; Jyotika wandered towards the music sounds.
MoogerMint Fortune fluttered his wings, offering to play music for Vanilla even though he didn't know how. He figured it would come naturally.
InfinitiesOfSoules Vanilla chittered happily. She'd LOVE to have Fortune play music for her!
Trelweny With a little sigh the fawn patterned volu sucked down the last of the grub's inner jellies. Most of her hunger satiated she chewed thoughtfully on the outer casings, ears flicking back & forth. The others appeared to be having fun. Part of her wanted to have fun too. She gnawed a little more of the skin, liking the slight crunchiness with just the trace on residual internal jellies adding to it's flavor. The grub had been the perfect age for tasty eating.
MoogerMint Fortune rubbed his wings together, but it squeaked an off-tune "chord." He cringed and tried again, this time playing a better melody. He was getting the hang of it! He smiled at Vanilla, hoping she didn't mind this being his first time.
Trelweny Green eyes brightened at the sound of attepted music. With all the music at home, even the slightest resemblance to it was comforting. Crunching the remainder of her bug Niabi slowly made her way a little closer to Vanilla so she could better hear Fortune's attempts at music.
MoogerMint Fortune spots the fawn-colored Niabi and smiles, glad that his music was attracting the right kind of attention.
InfinitiesOfSoules Vanliia loved Fortune's music, twurling around in a little dance to it.
Trelweny Surprised to have been noticed, the easily startled volu sucks in multiple quick breaths before being able to return the smile with a wavering shy smile of her own. Her little head nods to the beat. With practice Fortune could be quite good.
Out of the corner of her eye she could see Vanilla dancing & gave a little sigh. A little part of her wished she had the courage to follow suit.
InfinitiesOfSoules Vanilla noticed the little volu watching, and chittered for her to come join in Talasi screetched, pouncing on Alexis to stop his infernal noise. Alexis squeaked and bit Talasi. He was playing music! gonk
MoogerMint Seeing Vanilla dance and Niabi smile back at him made him very happy. He knew that he wasn't very good yet, but if it made other volu so happy he should learn to play better!
InfinitiesOfSoules Vittorio slunk away towards Fortune, sliding up next to him and joining him in playing
Trelweny With a squeek Niabi backed up from Vanilla's invitation, green eyes widening in fear. The music, however amatuer, was too strong a pull for her & she could not merely run away. Not unless she wanted to run all the way home. Shaking, Niabi regained the ground she had oved from, smiled nervously at the other dancer, & made a small gracefull spin in tie with the music. Lit touched her green eyes. That was not so bad.
Eagleyes Starlit looks around, watching all the action.
InfinitiesOfSoules Vanilla chittered with glee and copied Niabi's spin. Then she added a spin of her own, tying to tempt Niabi into a spinning competition. Ebony spun too, trying to get Niabi to dance.
MoogerMint Fortune begins dancing himself, although not as fast as the others otherwise his music would be even more flawed. Hopping was basically all he could do, but it was all he really wanted to do. His smile was wide at seeing Niabi's fear melt away, and he hoped she could meld right in with the music and forget all about fear, at least fro tonight.
Melomar Altan peeks out of his and Starlit's basket, recognizing the sounds and smells of Mel and the other volu. He chitters a welcome then hides inside again. Kalahari waves his long watermelon-tail around and climbs up on Mel's shoulder. Terrell falls off with a squawk, but curls up in her lap and all is well again. Topaz flitters about overhead watching the other fae volu curiously.
Trelweny The music was intoxicating. Niabi had only listened before to her human's practicing & recordings. She could lay quietly, listening to those, her paws tapping & tail swishing lightly. Being so near the source of 'live' music, so fresh & vibrant it was clear to her frightened mind tha tshe would not be able to stop until either her body gave out on her or the music ended. It was like the tales of musicians versus dancers her human told the, only it was not intentional & there was no real competition. Save whatever the dancers competed for fun amidst each other. Flicking her tail one direction she twirled the other, giving the illusion of a strangly curving snake. She could hear her heartbeat above the music & wondered if it sang in others' ears as it did in hers.
MoogerMint Fortune sees the other volu enter with Melomar and offers them to dance with the rest of them with a jerk of his head and a quick chirp as he continues to play music with his wings.
Eagleyes Starlit's nose twitched as they sat and watched.
Melomar Topaz chitters curiously at Fortune's offer and adds some notes to the song with her own wings as she zips about overhead. Taitah, Altan's daughter, takes flight and tries herself, adding an interesting beat to the music.
MoogerMint Fortune laughed gleefully as Niabi continued to dance, using her tail like a sash. In the dimly-lit forest, the music and dancing seemed almost magical. With Topaz and Taitah's added music, the song started to sound like an orchestra of crickets; quite a beautiful sound.
Eagleyes Starlit's tail started to swing back and forth in time to the beat. It was quite catchy.
Melomar Limeade curls up near Mel's feet to watch and listen to the music. Paradox! takes advantage of the 'mood' and sidles up to her. Limeade makes a distinctive "Arr!" growl and slithers away behind Asher and Sienna.
InfinitiesOfSoules Talasi prances along. Music is still playing? JOY!
Trelweny The added musicians served to highten the naturally timid fawn volu's dancing trance. Stomping a paw she 'threw' out her tail with a whiplike motion just in front of her. As it flicked upward she stomped in the spot where it had touched the ground, clapped her hands together, & spun in place, wrapping herself in her tail like a covering. A pause, and Niabi unwound in a flurry of brown & white speckled fur, coming back to her possition to repeat the step flicking her tail around the other side of her body & starting on the other foot.
Eagleyes Starlit watched as others danced, her tail swishing back and forth with the beat. Perhaps she should dance also?
Melomar Mel finds herself covered in and surrounded the warm furry bodies of many Volu. Darcie has fallen asleep behind her, with Mosuke sitting next to her peeking out to watch the festivities.
InfinitiesOfSoules Vanilla twirled faster, spinning around with Niabi. This was fun! Vittorio moved his wings faster, speeding up the rhythm of the music. He wanted to watch the pretty volu dance!
Melomar Gekko twirls slowly and gracefully in interest before picking up the beat and joining in the dance.
InfinitiesOfSoules Vanilla nods to Gekko, twirling around her as well.
Trelweny More volu faces thronged around her, but Niabi was too caught up in the music to be able to give them a thought. Inside she was still terrified, shaking with fear. It slipped through in her almost frenzied dancing. Her world for the moment consisted of little more than music & dancing. She soun clockwise & slid to the right; spun counterclockwise & spun to the left. Raising her forepaws over her head she did a twirl on her toes, her tail swirling near the ground like a hooped skirt. If she could stop to think she would be bewildered that she had the courage to dance like this.
InfinitiesOfSoules Vittorio admired Niabi. The shy volu was so pretty! 4laugh And so much fun to play music for her to dance to! Jyotika stopped outside the circle of volu, admiring the dancers. Xing watched, before joining in the playing. Galaxy decided to dance, and she jumped in with abandon.
Melomar Gekko chrrs happily at Vanilla and Naibi, though the latter seems too caught up in the dance. With a wild flourish, Gekko follows her example, loving the dance.
InfinitiesOfSoules Priti's poor aching tummy.... she watched the twisting and dancing jealously. Ebony took to the air, spinning, landing only to throw himself back up again.
Eagleyes Starlit couldn't resist the call of the dance any longer. She jumped in and and the world around her faded as the music swelled in her ears.
InfinitiesOfSoules Alexis watched Starlit dance, pleased. He liked her very much... redface Talasi ate grubs and watched them dance. Jyotika jumped in, pulling Xing with her. Jyotika was Bright where Xing was Dark, and the two faes made a striking picture. Rosie hummed, joining Talasi in watching the dance. She wasn't very coordinated.
Eagleyes Starlit didn't notice that anything was going on around her as she danced to the ever-present beat.
Trelweny Someone nearby chrrped, & Naibi heard herself responding in kind. The freedom of the dance was envigorating. She could feel the excitement of dancers & musicians as the ranks of both swelled. Some innate sense kept her from stepping on her fellow dancers' paws or slpping the with her tail or otherwise bumping into them unintentionally. It was nice to be a part of something, no matter how her heart hammered in her chest. It was fun.
InfinitiesOfSoules Alexis joined in the music, starting a slow counterpoint to Vittorio's frenzy. Ebony swirled in midair, bounding higher and higher, wings fluttering Jyotika and Xing swirled faster and faster until they were a red and blue winged mass, spinning almost off the ground to the music.
Eagleyes Starlit felt as if she could fly. There was the dance, the music, and the beat. There was nothing else. She managed to avoid hitting any of the other dancers as the beat drove her onwards to dance.
Trelweny Dancing was almost like flying, but it was less frightening to the earthbound volu. Niabi liked feeling the ground beneath her paws; feeling the thrum of the music & the other dancers' steps beneath her.
InfinitiesOfSoules Ebony stopped to catch a breath, admiring the lovely colors. Vittorio watched Niabi dance, admiring her shiny coat. Starlit was dancing her heart out, and Alexis was caught. So pretty! heart Ebony finally caught up, and flung himself back into dance
Eagleyes If Starlit knew that Alexis was dancing... but she didn't, so she continued to dance, her tail swirling around her as she leapt and twirled.
InfinitiesOfSoules Xing was loving the dance. <3 The music beating into the dirt under his paws, the pretty volu he was dancing with... Alexis was playing, using his wings as best he could to provide a lovely beat for the dancers Galaxy spun in the air, her multi-colors almost hypnotic in the darkening light.
Eagleyes Tomorrow? What was tomorrow? Starlit just danced, as if tomorow never existed.
InfinitiesOfSoules Jyotika started humming adding song to the music Xing slowly peeled away from Jyotika, adding his voice to hers in a duet that fit in with the wing-playing SEPHIROTH! Talasi piped up, with a little laugh. Alexis watched the dancers, speeding up his wing-beat. As Alexis sped up, Vittorio slowed down. They didn't want the dancers getting exhausted too soon.
Eagleyes Starlit grinned with glee as she felt the music within her flow into her steps as she continued to dance.

Trelweny The twilight illumination was flickering off the wings of the arial volu & musicians. Probably off of the dancers with wings wings as well if she could have seen them. It was like a faint lightshow, perfect for the dreamlike quality of this night. All the energy, all the dancing. It felt more like a dream than reality to the timid Niabi. She chittered happily. Would this all seem but a dream to her in the morning when she woke?
Adorkable Nerd AN watched the volu dance, amazed
InfinitiesOfSoules Vittorio was loving every moment of his playing.
Eagleyes Starlit felt as if she was in a dream-like state and could do anything. She floated among the stars as she leapt and twirled and slid, taking care not to hit the other dancing stars in her mind. The music had become one with her pulse.
InfinitiesOfSoules Alexis adored every moment of Starlit's dance, and let the music become one with him as well. Vittorio swayed back and forth as he played. Priri crawled back out of the woods to the dance site
Trelweny The music was swelling, growing ever fuller. Niabi felt it filling her, flowing in her. It gave her energy she did not know she had.
InfinitiesOfSoules Vanilla spun around more, pink eyes (and fur) gleaming
Eagleyes Starlit started to hum with the music as she danced, her very soul caught up in the beat.
InfinitiesOfSoules Xing twirled a bit more. Vittorio began slowing his playing, and Alexis followed suit. vanilla slowed, until her dancing was graceful and smooth, her tail sweeping out behind her carefully.
Eagleyes Starlit didn't notice as her body started to grow tired. She knew only that the beat was started to become too fast for her, even though it wasn't... getting... fast...er... She danced out of the way, and gracefully fell onto a soft patch of ground, asleep for a quick nap before her head touched to ground.
InfinitiesOfSoules Alexis was worried when Starlit hit the ground and he stopped playing, chittering over to the female.
Eagleyes Sarlit yawned as she turned over, her feet splayed in the air as she streatched before finishing her roll and falling asleep again... only to open one eye at the sound of chittering. Her other eye opened as she saw Alexis over her and chittered back. She was fine really. She just needed a quick nap. She closed her eyes again and fell asleep once more.
InfinitiesOfSoules Alexis chittered, snuggling up behind Starlit. Oh, good. She was okay. <3
Trelweny Vaguely -as if through a fog- Niabi felt one of her fellow dancers pull back. Felt the warmth that had been where the other volu was leave them. A croon-like chitter passed over her teeth, wishing the other well. It was all she could do, for the dance held her sway. Yet it was the dance that had given her the courage to respond to Starlet's absense at all. Strange, the power of music.
Eagleyes Music invaded Starlit's dreams, causing her to twitch in time to the beat even as she continued to sleep. She simply snuggled backwards closer to Alexis as he snuggled up behind her.
InfinitiesOfSoules Vittorio noticed one of the dancers fall out, but all his attention was on Niabi.
Eagleyes Starlit buzzed peacefully as she slept, her sore limbs starting to relax.
InfinitiesOfSoules Alexis murred, snuggling into Starlit's warm coat.
Eagleyes Starlit streatched once more, yawning as she did, before curling up and going back into a light sleep.
InfinitiesOfSoules Jyotika hummed louder, swaying side to side. Xing raises his voice as well, matching Jyotika.
Eagleyes Starlit continued to twitch with the beat, even as she relaxed with her nap.
InfinitiesOfSoules Alexis sighed and disentangled himself from Starlit, going back to playing music, rubbing his wings together.
Eagleyes Xing continued to match his voice with Jyotika's, singing happily. Starlit whimpered and twitched as she felt Alexis go. Now she was getting cold! It wasn't quite enough to wake her, but she was in an even lighter sleep now.
InfinitiesOfSoules Galaxy spun, faster and faster, moving so fast she was almost tripping over herself.
Trelweny If Niabi could see the fight over the grubs she would hve blanched at the luck she had earlier in stealing her one little grub for her meal. Luck was again on her side, keeping her mind preocupied with twirling, sncing & otherwise flowing with the music provided by the musician volu.
Eagleyes Xing matched Jyotike pitch for pitch, pattern for pattern. No way would Jyotika get one up on him!
InfinitiesOfSoules Niabi had been invited. Paradox! had not been. Grub-thief. Talasi rubbed his sore ear. Priti smiled and chittered at Paradox! Feel free to eat Talasi anytime. Talasi grunted. No more grubs for you. Ebony spun faster in the air as Jyotika and Xing played dueling voices.
Eagleyes Starlit woke with a start, the music beckoning to her once more. The urge to dance had returned, her twitchy tail as evidence.
InfinitiesOfSoules Alexis greeted Starlit happily, waving his tail Vittorio began playing fater, dancing over to Paradox! Dance, magic, dance!
Melomar Paradox! chrrs softly, but it's only half-hearted. He dislikes being scolded. Limeade sees the shadowy shape overhead and watches suspiciously.
InfinitiesOfSoules Priti joins in the dancing, feeling better
Eagleyes Xing dropped an octave to Jyotika's pitch, unable to sustain the high ptich for so long, but he continued to match pattern for pattern as Jyotaka sang. Now his voice was a deep counterbalance to Jyotaka's higher voice, adding new depth to the song...
InfinitiesOfSoules Jyotika chirrupped happily. That sounded even better! Ebony dropped back to the earth, twirling Vanilla twined around Ebony. Yay for dance partners! 4laugh
Eagleyes Xing decided to get creative and changed parts of the pattern to blend with Jyotika's, making it seem more complex without truly being so.
InfinitiesOfSoules Jyotika also changed her pattern, and found herself up and dancing before she knew it. Priti twirled in a circle.
Eagleyes Starlit couldn't stand it anymore! She leapt up with a playful growl and jumped back into the sway of the dance, throwing her head up and dancing with "avoid hitting anyone or anything" being the only care.
InfinitiesOfSoules Galaxy found herself dancing with Starlit, dancing close to her yet carefully. She chirruped a 'fun!'
Eagleyes Xing leapt to his feet as Jyotika changed her pattern and started to dance. He found himself leaping into the forms of dance before he could blink at Jyotika doing so. Singing was so much more fun when you danced to it! Starlit found herself grinning at Galaxy and chirruped a 'funfun!' back as she continued to dance.
InfinitiesOfSoules It WAS! Jyotika took a break long enough to let out a laugh, and then she was singing again, exhilarated. Vanilla twirled with Ebony, black and white mixing into a blur of grey.
Eagleyes Xing heard Jyotika's laugh and responded in kind before taking a deep breath and letting it out in song.
Trelweny Niabi felt beautiful, graceful, & elegant: all things she never thought of herself as normally. She dared not stop dancing now. Though her body began to tire, the music kept her on her feet.
InfinitiesOfSoules Alexis watched Starlit happily. Still pretty! heart Vittorio watched Niabi. He couldn't see how anyone wouldn't believe she wasn't graceful, or elegant! gonk
Eagleyes Starlit caught a brief glance at Alexis as she spun. The look on his face made her giggle happily and she danced her way closer to him. Would he come dance with her?
InfinitiesOfSoules Alexis would! The musician almost floated over to starlit.
Trelweny In her growing tiredness she felt eyes upon her & flushed. Her next step was nearly off its mark but she was quick to cover. Deliberately this time she threw herself in the music, afraid of coming down from her dncing high.
InfinitiesOfSoules Ebony chirrups and springs back into the air, twirling
Eagleyes Starlit's face lit up with a grin as Alexis about floated over to her. She squirmed with glee as she followed the flow of the beat. The beat was so addicting... Xing continued to dance and sing, wondering if perhaps he should try to dance closer to Jyotika...
InfinitiesOfSoules Vanilla twirls on the ground, tail spinning around her as she circles on all fours, as if chasing it before jumping up onto her front paws Jyotika spins, swirling in closer to Xing, crooning
Eagleyes Starlit waited until Alexis was close enough before she started to dance with him. Dancing was fun. Dancing with another was even more fun... She briefly closed her eyes in bliss before opening them to see where she was going.
InfinitiesOfSoules Alexis wrapped arouns Starlit happily, wings still playing
Eagleyes Xing crooned at Jyotika, swinging himself around to get closer to Jyotika as he raised his voice in happiness. Would Jyotika follow? Starlit squealed happily as Alexis wrapped himself around her, his wings a part of the music. She danced in time with him, making them seem like one dancer
InfinitiesOfSoules Alexis was excited when Starlit responded to his dancing so well.
Eagleyes The beat was all. All were one. The one was the beat. Starlit was happy that Alexis was happy.
Trelweny Ignoring possble eyes on her, Niabi danced on; only heedful of the locations of the other dancers.
InfinitiesOfSoules Vittorio slunk over towards Niabi, chittering and wanting to dance with her
Eagleyes How could anyone not want to dance to that beat? And the sound... It made you want to sing with it... Unless, of course, you were already singing with it. Xing was so happy.
InfinitiesOfSoules Jyotika crooned again, slinking in closer to Xing
Eirnae Slytherin-Natenhar Tadre snortles discontentedly. Well, this wasn't very fun. She thought she'd gotten a chance to meet another volu, and then all present go their separate ways and leave her to her lonesome. Pouting with drooping antennae, she turns in a slow circle to take in the expanse of the shop's floor. Hrm.. Well, if there is no one inside to be around, perhaps she had best go outside?
InfinitiesOfSoules Vanilla twirled some more, leaping into the air.
Melomar Wings tired from flying and playing, Topaz flutters to the ground and slowly makes her way back to Mel. Terrell moves over to let her share their human's lap.
Eagleyes Starlit followed Alexis' every move, making it near impossible to tell where one of his moves left off and hers began.
InfinitiesOfSoules Talasi snacked on some grubs, then spat one of them out under the feet of the dancers to see if they'd trip. Priti hit Talasi, hard. Alexis sped up, twirling faster, teasing Starlit and challenging her.
Trelweny Catching sight of Vanilla leaping out of the side of her eye, Niabi was inspired to add little jumps to her dncing as well. She kept them just short of the other's jumps, not wanting to feel as if eyes were upon her again. Not just now. This whole experience was still so new.
Eagleyes Xing was dancing so well... then his foot came down on something slippery and he fell, grabbing at others to try and break his fall... All he did was bring whoever he did manage to grab down with him...
InfinitiesOfSoules Vittorio crooned sadly. Niabi wasn't interested in dancing with him....
Eagleyes Starlit meet Alexis' challange and sped up to match his speed, their bodies become blurs.
Kumi Haruki Jyotika let out a screech as Xing fell, carrying her with him.
Eirnae Slytherin-Natenhar Why do the two legs always have to use wood for their flooring? Specifically smooth wood? Tadre's blunt claws scrabble against the lack of pawholds as she makes her way to the door, finally reaching a floormat of carpet and taking a moment to rest on it.
Now that she's gotten this far, what about the door? Ah, wait! Eirnae didn't close it all the way, thank goodness. An idea strikes Tadre's fancy, and she backs up a bit before charging forward, wings flapping as if she means to try and take off right there. Nope, she's just picking up velocity so when she hits what's left of the wooden floor she slides across it at enough speed to get to the crack between the door and the wall, and right on through. Wheeee! To keep her wings from getting bruised, as soon as she feels her paws slip out from underneath her she tucks them up as tight as she can.
InfinitiesOfSoules Alexis chuffed out a laugh, licking Starlit's ear affectionately Byrnie heard faintly the sounds of music, and ventured off to find out what it was.
Eagleyes Xing yelped as Jyotika fell wtih him. Lucky for her, he was there to break her fall. Not-so-lucky for him, she fell on top of him just as he hit the ground. Ow. All his air left his lungs in a hurry and his song got cut off.
InfinitiesOfSoules Jyotika crooned out an apology to Xing. What had he tripped on?
Eagleyes Starlit squirmed in delight as her ear was licked, and she responded by dancing even faster then she was before. Let's see Alexis catch up with her now!
InfinitiesOfSoules Priti scowled as Talasi's dinner made two volu fall, and she started beating the other volu repeatedly with her tail Alexis spun faster, trying his hardest to keep up with the female. His wings seemed to be a problem, but...
Eagleyes Xing responded with an uncertain chirp. He wasn't quite certain. All he knew was that it wasn't there early and it took his foot out from under him when he stepped on it.
InfinitiesOfSoules Jyotika frowned. That wasn't good at all! gonk
Eagleyes Starlit slowed down just enough so that Alexis' wings wouldn't be a problem and started to add new moves to the mix.
Melomar At first, Gekko thought she was tired, which made her dizzy, when in fact she had stepped in squirming grubs which caused her to fall. With a frightened squeal, she hit the ground and scrambled away from dancing feet. Then curling up, she began to lick her feet clean. Gross, but yummy...
InfinitiesOfSoules Ebony bounced into the air, eyeing the fallen volu vanilla spun, moving away from the fallen two. And tripped over Gekko, who was... licking her feet?

Tadre hadn't expected to find so many volu once she'd gotten out, but here they were, all scattered about and doing their own thing. She uncurls from the ball she'd tucked herself into to avoid getting hurt upon her landing after shooting from the shop entrance like a weasel popping from a goody bag. She follows the sound of music with her ears perked and twitching to track the noise.
InfinitiesOfSoules Jyotika noted Gekko licking her feet, and her eyes lit on Talasi eating grubs.
Eagleyes Xing noticed Jyotika's expression, and followed her gaze with his own. Talasi couldn't have... wouldn't have... could have?
InfinitiesOfSoules Talasi would have, and his malicious smile confirmed it. Jyotika flew at Talasi with a war cry, teeth latching into his ear. BAD!
Melomar Gekko squeals in surprise as she is tripped on by another volu. Forgetting her snack, she curls up in an instinctual attempt to get further out of the way. When she thinks she is safe, she skitters over to see if Vanilla is all right.

Trelweny The sad croon caught her ear, seemingly just for her & she sngled her spin to stop & face the source. Fear strted to flow into her green eyes as she paused from her dancing long enough to realize she had, though she still managed a shy smile. Did he... did this volu wish to dance with her? She chirped the inconceivable question ever so softly.
InfinitiesOfSoules Vanilla whimpers and nods that she's fine. Priti latches onto Talasi's other ear, punishing
Eagleyes Xing was just a split minute behind Jyotika - having to catch his breath after being launched off of - to latch onto the other ear. Very bad!
InfinitiesOfSoules Vittorio nodded brightly. Oh yes, yes! He wanted to dance with her! 4laugh Byrnie watched the other volu in awe Ebony spins, watching Vanilla. Tough luck, that.
Eagleyes Xing found himself wishing he had gotten up early as he latched onto the wrong ear. Oops. Who's ear was he latched onto?
InfinitiesOfSoules talashi whimpers trying to get his ears free. Well, this wasn't any fun. His tail bristles out and he growls Jyotika wails in pain, lashing. Her EAR! Her EAR! Priti eyes Jyotika. Poor thing.
Melomar Gekko hums in relief, then turns to see why all the other volu were attacking one in particular. His poor ears wouldn't last much longer. Hadn't Paradox! been chewing on those ears earlier? They might very well rot off if they weren't gnawed off outright...
InfinitiesOfSoules Alexis spun, getting distracted by the sight.... and his foot ships in guts and he spins into Starlit
Eagleyes Xing instantly let go. Very very bad. He curled up into a little ball, hoping he wouldn't get noticed.

Eagleyes Starlit yelps at the sudden contact and the combined momentum carried them into the next dancer...
InfinitiesOfSoules Jyotika whimpered, letting go of Talasi to whimper and pet at her own ear
Trelweny Tentatively, shyly, Niabi touches his paw. Her human had said it was for the males to lead, but she only new of one way of dancing... like she had been dancing tonight. The whole evening had been new to her as well... how did one dance with a partner. She swiped her tail nervously, brushing his as she did so & her bluch deepened. She would give him a chance to 'lead' & then she would try.
InfinitiesOfSoules Ebony squealed as Starlit and Alexis fell on top of him. Tough luck, that Vittorio's wings slowed to allow the now-shy volu an easier pace. He started off slowly, leading her in a small circle.
Melomar Gekko decides she is too close to the commotion and decides to call it a night, so to speak. Hopping over to her troupe, she curls up next to Asher and Sienna.
InfinitiesOfSoules Talasi chuffed a laugh at Jyotika. Silly female.
Eagleyes Starlit stuggled to get up, but that only resulted in her flailing out and risking bringing down more dancers.
InfinitiesOfSoules Alexis pulled off Starlit, chuffing out an apology. He helped her up, nuzzling her. Vanilla eyed ebony. Silly Volu had fallen. She shook her head Rosie let out a tired snort and woke up. Wha....?
Eagleyes Starlit quit struggling and accepted Alexis' help to get up. She cooed at his nuzzling and asked if he'd like to try dancing again.
Melomar Comfortably curled up, Gekko finishes licking her feet clean.
InfinitiesOfSoules Byrnie wanted to dance, but he was shy and stayed back out of sight.
Eirnae Slytherin-Natenhar Tadre skitters up only to plant herself off to the side so she can watch Niabi and Vittorio dance. She takes the time to groom her tail as she watches, combing the fur with her claws and biting on the more stubborn of knots, though her attention is drawn away from her fur's troubles by the grace of the dancers. Could she learn to do that?
Eagleyes Starlit started to dance again, winding herself around Alexis as she waited for him to start as well.
InfinitiesOfSoules Vanilla lifts up, scowling. Then she bows to Gekko and starts dancing again Alexis starts playing again, music blending with Vittorio's. Priti finished gnawing on Talasi's ear, nuzzling Jyotika.
Melomar Gekko decides to watch the dance for a while, at least until she feels more rested.
Eagleyes Xing perked up and started to sing again. Hopefully Jyotika wouldn't be mad at him for getting the wrong ear...
InfinitiesOfSoules Jyotika joined him hesitantly. She couldn't be too annoyed he had deplorable aim.... Byrnie watched, excited, pulling up to dance like the bigger volu
Melomar Taitah drops, exhausted from playing. At the last moment she manages to break her fall somewhat by flitting her fatigued wings. She stays where she lands, panting.
InfinitiesOfSoules Vanilla pounced on Ebony, chittering. How was THAT, huh? Vittorio let Alexis carry the music, his wings exhausted.
Trelweny This was different. Niabi let him lead her, feeling the featherlight weight of his wings enfolding her. This was unlike snuggling into the wings of those in her family. Equally unlike when Niabi's human danced around with her young. She decided it was... nice. Was the music slowing its pace or just them?
Eagleyes Starlit wanted to join in the playing, but wasn't sure how, so she just danced. Danced with Alexis.
InfinitiesOfSoules The music slowed, and Vittorio led Naibi around carefully in a rotation. She was very lovely! heart Alexis chittered that she might not be able to play, but Starlit could SING.
Eagleyes Xing was glad to hear Jyotika joining her voice with his. He started to lead the way back into the song they were singing before he slipped and fell.
InfinitiesOfSoules Jyotika followed, relaxing, body swaying side-to-side
Eagleyes Starlit blushed and started by humming, making sure she had everything right before she started to quietly sing. No doubt only Alexis could hear her at this range.
Eirnae Slytherin-Natenhar Taitah's fall breaks Tadre from her routine of grooming inbetween glimpses of the dancing volu. Squeaking with alarm, Tadre becomes more like a streak of orange, brown, and cream fur to get to the panting volu's side. Her concern is evident in the way she gently nudges Taitah's side with her nose, chirring to try and convey she means no harm. Is this volu alright? Could she help in some way?
InfinitiesOfSoules Ebony noted the fallen volu, but had associated it with just exhaustion.
Eagleyes Xing started to go up into the higher registries before he dropped his voice to be an octave below Jyotika's again. The music they made together was beautiful, perhaps even... perfect.
InfinitiesOfSoules Vanilla chittered, swaying back and forth. Lovely, lovely dance party! Jyotika nuzzled Xing before jumping back into the music, voice soaring.
Melomar Taitah pants and nods her head slowly trying to reassure Tadre that she's okay, just tired. x_x She noses at Tadre and chrrs happily.
InfinitiesOfSoules Ebony swirled, licking vanilla's ear
Eagleyes Xing blushed at the nuzzle and nuzzled back. He heard Jyotika's voice soar and did his best to have his fly along side hers.
Eagleyes Starlit slowly gained confidence in herself and started to sing louder.

Trelweny It was not frantic, but the music was beautiful. Niabi flushed. This gentler dancing was wonderful & beautiful but left so much time for her thoughts. She felt a little lost, & more than a little afraid. She lowered her eyes timidly. It seemed as if Vittorio knew what he was doing... he lead just as her human had described a male should; making her feel as if she was floating. Her tail trailed gently curling beside them. It was wierd not being in control, not seeing where she was going. Yet that was perhaps the only thing she was not afraid of. Somehow, she found herself trusting the dance.
InfinitiesOfSoules Vittorio chittered reassurances to the female at his side. Alexis smiled and licked Starlit's ear. Beautiful! crying
Eagleyes Xing followed Jyotika's lead, his voice merging with hers in perfect harmony.
InfinitiesOfSoules Byrnie chittered and darted out to dance.
Eirnae Slytherin-Natenhar Tadre chitters back her relief, laying down next to Taitah and curling her tail around the other female protectively. She chirrups for Taitah to rest as long as she needs, as she'll be watched over while she does. She noses Taitah's muzzle before lifting up her head and pricking up her ears, becoming a volu radar, her wings raising from her back so one curls over Taitah's shoulder.
InfinitiesOfSoules Jyotika admired Xing's coat. Oh, how LOVELY! 4laugh
Eagleyes Xing blushed brightly and fluttered his wings in happiness.
InfinitiesOfSoules Jyotika chitters her approval, licking one of his ears during a break in her song.
Eagleyes Starlit grinned at Alexis and continued to sing with growing confidence as she danced.
InfinitiesOfSoules Vanilla twirls, intent on finishing her dance. And maybe then a game of BALL!
Eirnae Slytherin-Natenhar Tadre perks and swivels her ears in the direction of the music, mostly because such is the loudest noise happening out here.

Eagleyes Xing turned bright red with pleasure at the lick, and gently nibbled on one of Jyotika's ears in return during a break in his song. She had such a lovely voice.
Trelweny Strangely, she was reasured. The traces of fear flowed out of her green eyes, leaving them sparkling. This was enjoyable. A similar escape from watching eyes only now Vittorio was added to the music & the dancing that filled her world & senses. She smiled, a little less shyly as he twirled her around the grass.
InfinitiesOfSoules Jyotika smiled and sang happily at Xing. His voice was lovely, and deep. Vittorio's wings thrummed, and the longtail fae nuzzled the female at his side. He was enjoying himself too, and he chittered his thankd for the dance Vanilla twirled in her dance, listening to the singing.
Melomar Taitah, still rather young, was especially reassured by Tadre's worry. She curled up close and sighed, resting her eyes and hoping her wings would stop shaking with fatigue. Hopefully she could help play a little later...
InfinitiesOfSoules Alexis stopped thrumming his wings, too tired to keep up. All that was lkeft seemed to be voices singing
Eagleyes Xing smiled back at Jyotika and sang back with a happy heart. Her voice was delightful and bright.

Eagleyes Voices singing and volu dancing. Such a blissful moment in time. Starlit queried Alexis about his wings going still. Was he ok?

Eagleyes Xing almost melted under Jyotika's gaze. Were those stars in her eyes, or did her eyes simply become stars? He bubbled happily.
Eagleyes Starlit cooed wih joy and started to dance just a bit slower for Alexis' sake.
InfinitiesOfSoules Xing was so handsome. Jyotika let her voice trail off, growing tired. Alexis nodded his thanks
Melomar Cider hops off of Mel's head and hurries forward to see Byrnie dance. He wanted to see if it was possible to dance with the other larger volu without getting stepped on.
Eagleyes Xing's voice trickled off just a split second after Jyotika's started to. He nuzzled her, wondering if she was ok. He was tired himself, but that didn't mean he couldn't look after her!
InfinitiesOfSoules Byrnie chittered at Cider. You just have to watch the big ones tails.
Trelweny The thrumming of his wings so close sent a series along her even before Vittorio nuzzled her. So soft... so warm... & just the right size too. Niabi let out a shaky little sigh as he thanked her & then automatically chittered back her 'you're welcome' followed by a blush & returned nuzzling. She chittered lightly into his soft ear her own thanks... for more than she oculd explain. More really than she understood.
InfinitiesOfSoules Jyotika nodded her thanks. Just a little sleepy.
Eagleyes Starlit cooed a welcome at Alexis. She was getting tired too, so she didn't mind slowing one bit.
Eirnae Slytherin-Natenhar Tadre has never been a mother before, but it's safe to say that her motherly instincts are a large part of what keeps her close to the weary Taitah. As she feels the fae wings quivering against the edge of her butterfly one, she ducks down her head to groom Taitah's ear and neck ruff fondly. She's flown till her wings shook in a similar manner, so she believes she understands just how tired Taitah really is. She chirrups a question that voices her wondering how Taitah got this tired, her curiousity even greater than her need to comfort.
InfinitiesOfSoules Vittorio nodded, and licked her ear lightly, hoping it wasn't going too far.
Eagleyes Xing asked if perhaps he should find her somewhere to sleep. His feet certainly felt numb from all the dancing and his throat dry from all the singing.
Melomar Cider continued to watch, wide-eyed. Byrnie was right, it shouldn't be too difficult... Chittering enthusiastically he joined the dancers, hopping about and flicking his poofy tail.
InfinitiesOfSoules Alexis started singing a bit, counterpoint to Starlit. Ahhhh, his lovely Starlit! Byrnie danced happily, swaying side to side and in circles
Eagleyes Starlit faultered for the briefest of moments when another voice came up beside hers. She blinked at Alexis, then grinned, starting her singing once more to blend with his. Singing was such fun!
InfinitiesOfSoules Jyotika nodded. She herself was sooo very tired. A place to sleep would be wonderful
Eirnae Slytherin-Natenhar A bit more nipping at a small twist in Taitah's neck fur smooths it out, and Tadre chirrs with pleasure at her minor accomplishment. She does so hate knots in her own fur, so she's certain that Taitah dislikes them as much as she does.
InfinitiesOfSoules Alexis plopped his rump on the ground and raised his voice, singing a song about grubs and mating season.
Eagleyes Xing nodded, then started to weave his way through those that were still dancing until he came to a good spot away from the dancing. He turned to make sure Jyotika was behind him before he patted the spot. Here. Would this do?

Melomar Taitah poofs up as Tadre starts to groom her. It was a familiar, comfortable feeling that tickls just a little. She hums as she explains in little chirrups and growls how she tried to keep up with the other musicians in that song. It was hard to fly and play all at once!
InfinitiesOfSoules Rosie rolled over, snoring loudly Jyotika nodded to Xing. It would do wonderfully.
Eagleyes Starlit also sat down and raised her voice to sing with him. It was all about the beat... and the grub... and the season... >>

Melomar Cider jumps up onto his back legs, hopping like a pomeranian, then tosses his head and cartwheels to one side, dodging dancers and flicking his tail joyfully.
Eagleyes Xing padded around the area once before curling up somewhere near the middle of the spot. He left plenty of room for Jyotika, tho, and he raised his head to see if she would sleep near him... After all, two were warmer then one!
InfinitiesOfSoules Jyotika curled up next to him. What better way to stay warm, that was right. She chittered a goodnight, closing her eyes Byrnie tossed his head. FUN! FUN! 4laugh
Eagleyes Who said that anything was wrong with the mating season? Starlit swayed to the music that she was helping to create.
Eirnae Slytherin-Natenhar Oooh.. Well, that explained it. Tadre finishes up with the side of Taitah's frontal fur that she can reach, and sets to squeaking and chirping an inquiry about how Taitah makes music. Is it with her wings, and that's why she had to fly and made music at the same time?
InfinitiesOfSoules The music was stopping, and there wasn't anything wrong with that. Alexis licked Starlit lightly.
Eagleyes Xing purred happily to himself before chittering a goodnight to Jyotika and closing his eyes to fall asleep.

Eagleyes Starlit sighed as the music started fade and licked Alexis back. Did the music ending mean it was sleep time?

Eagleyes Xing gave out a low buzzing snore before he shifted to breathe better. Ah... Sleep was so wonderful... But sleep with another was beyond words...

Melomar Taitah chirps happily, then murmurs. No, she was trying to play and zip about like Topaz, but she just managed to dip and hover a lot. She could play on the ground, though sometimes wind changed the sound of the music too.
Eirnae Slytherin-Natenhar Tadre wonders if she can make music with her wings, other than their usual thrumming. Hrm... likely not. Taitah's are different than hers, with their clear membranes instead of those covered with short fur. A shame, really, as she'd like to be able to play pretty music on a whim.
Trelweny Niabi shuddered, clinging to him. She felt charged & drained at the same time. What was it? A tiny whimper escaped her mouth and she danced closer to Vittorio. Was her ear that sensitive or was it something else? She had not been an adult for very long... was this an adult thing. Her tail curled around them both, ever so lightly.
Eagleyes Starlit blinked. She must be very tired for her timing to be off. For her, it was only if they were very, very... 3:30 in the morning-time tired...
Eagleyes If Xing would have been awake, he would have been happy she agreed. 3nodding
Melomar Taitah listens and hums musically to match the hum of Tadre's wing beats. The delighted noises she makes after are more than enough to say that Tadre can make a little music.
Eirnae Slytherin-Natenhar Tadre chitters that perhaps when Taitah feels more energized, she could teach Tadre this dip and hover manuver. She's dipped, and she's hovered, but never at the same time. It sounds fascinating. Oh, and who is this Topaz? Her manners clobber her over her furry head, and she flushes under her fur. She chirps then that her name is Tadre, and she's sorry that she didn't introduce herself earlier. It must have slipped her mind.
InfinitiesOfSoules Vittorio curled his longer tail around them as well, swaying, humming in Niabi's ear. If Jyotika had been awake, well... you get the picture. whee Ebony twirled one last time before lighting on the grass. AH! What fun! heart
Melomar Cider dances about some more, then abandons all attempts to keep with a beat as he jets off and runs around the clearing.
Eagleyes Starlit hummed. Perhaps the two of them should find a good sleeping spot before they are all taken?
Eirnae Slytherin-Natenhar Tadre chirrs and adds her voice in a low hum an octave below Taitah's, doing well considering this is her first time singing in her life. She keeps up the beat with her wings, pleased that she's found a way to add to the music that had once ruled this morning's activities.

Trelweny A little ripple of pleasure flowed through Niabi. Vittorio's humming relaxed & stimulated her at the same time. her eyes closed happily & she hummed counterpart into his neck just under his soft ears.
Eagleyes Starlit followed after Alexis. Hopefully it was early enough to get a really good sleeping spot...
Melomar Surprised, Taitah gasps. She could teach Tadre something? She nods in delight, though she can only wiggle a bit right now. She chitters her name, Taitah, and that Topaz is an older female fae that she looks up to.
InfinitiesOfSoules The spot Alexis chose was in a small dip, big enough for them to cuddle comfirtably. He let Starlit in first. His wings would provide him shelter, and his body, her warmth Ebony and Vanilla curled up right there in trhe dancing area. They were too tired to move anywhere else.
Eagleyes Starlit tries to peek around Alexis. Did he find a good spot yet? Oooo, yes. She started in before him and curled up into a little ball, wanting to be sure Alexis had space as well.
Melomar Cider continues to zoom around, leaping over Byrnie once as he goes, and skids to a stop before running into a volu. Squeaking many apologies, the gingerbread volette zips off again.
InfinitiesOfSoules Alexis curled up next to her, one of his wings out to protect her from any winds that may come up during the night Byrnie bounced on his back legs happily
Trelweny Softly, lightly & tentatively Niabi lifted her head slightly to tremblingly lick Vittorio's ear.
Eirnae Slytherin-Natenhar Tadre replies that she'd love to meet this Topaz, as she's always glad to make new friends. Then she ducks her head for the first shy moment she's had since meeting Taitah, and softly chirps the question if Taitah would like to be her friend?
Eagleyes Xing was sleeping peacefully away, Jyotika beside him. Starlit was about to fall asleep right there and then.

Melomar Taitah listens to Tadre's voice and chitters softly to herself, liking the vibrating hum of the other volu. She peeped a few times, in time with the little song. Taitah prrts cheerfully; Tadre will be her first friend outside of Mel's group of volu.
InfinitiesOfSoules Vittorio licked back, carefully. Naibi was trembling, and he didn't want to scare her.
Eagleyes Starlit really did fall asleep right there and then, her head tucked under one of Alexis' wings, and her body snuggled against Alexis.
InfinitiesOfSoules Talasi and Priti curled up, ready to sleep. Alexis crooned happily, eyes drifting shut There was a small snort, and Rosie woke up to grab a grub
Eagleyes Both Starlit and Xing were sleeping quietly and peacefully, blissfully happy where they were.
Eirnae Slytherin-Natenhar Tadre takes Taitah's peeping as a good sign, and thrums her wings with more enthusiasm. She's made a friend outside of her mistress's volu clan! She is full of pride, and it shows in the volume of her humming, which has gone up a notch. Her furry chest vibrates with the force of it.
She eases up on her humming as she attempts a cute little peep of her own, chittering a volu giggle at how young it sounds. She didn't realize that she could sound like a baby again. She chirrups about how pleased she is to have met Taitah. She asks if flying is Taitah's favorite thing, as hers is the warmth of two legger laps. Nothing beats snuggling on one and getting the love that two legger hands can give one's fur.
Trelweny Frightened yet not scared, Niabi felt her legs weakening. She had been dncing heavily for a long time now & this new intimacy did not lean itself to keeping her stable. In fact if she was not so intertwined with Vittorio she would hve fallen.
In some ways she wasn't sure she had not.
Kumi Haruki Vittorio chittered and slowed the dancing gently. Was Niabi tired? Did she want to rest? He himself was exhausted, and she looked horribly shaken.
Trelweny Timidly, Niabi chirped in Vittorio's ear an affirmative. Her whole body shook lightly. Her small forepaws clung to his light fur even as she leaned into him for support. Despite all rationl thought, no matter how tired she was, somehow suddenly she did not want to leave his side.
Melomar Taitah utters random cute noises to go with Tadre's music as she raises her voice. The young pink fae agrees with Tadre that their meeting was grand. She tilts her head wondering just what her favorite thing is! People. She loves being with lots of volu and having fun with them, or snuggling, or whatever. Cider buzzes up to the two volu and runs into Taitah softly, at a half-fall. She isn't the only one now exhausted, apparently, as the little volette lands draped across her forelegs. He curls up with his face in her chest fur and dozes off.
InfinitiesOfSoules Vittorrio crooned, nodding. He'd take care of her. He moved them over to a warm area, and lay down, waiting for her to snuggle into his side.
Eirnae Slytherin-Natenhar Cider's arrival catches Tadre off guard, leaving the femme volu with a tilted head and c**k eyed antennae, her wings having ceased their flapping to stand straight out from her body like a cat's neck ruff when it feels threatened. Once she's determined that Cider is both friendly and not a threat, her wings flutter into a relaxed and still position against her back.
She barely covers up a wide yawn with a swiftly raised front paw. She chirps that perhaps the three of them, meaning her, Taitah, and the little volette, had best find a nice spot to nest for the rest of the morning. She says that her mistress is busy in the shop, and likely won't come back out for some hours yet.
Trelweny Following him s easily now as when they had danced Niabi fit herself into the curve of his body, snuggling into his side. With a contented sigh she twined her tail with his longer one, easily drifting off into sleep. Tomorrow she would discover if it had all been a dream. breathing in Vittorio's scent she could not conceive how it could be.

A little black nose poked around the side of the pillow. Niabi was at home with her human & their 'family', and she wanted to find out if it was safe to emerge from her hiding place. She sniffed delicately. Once. Twice. No recent scent trace of the human child... or the kunkun. Carefully Niabi eased herself onto the pillow she had used as shield & barrier. Her eyes confirmed what her nose knew to be true: she was alone. Well, save for the sleeping tyuri & the larger housecat. Her nose twitched as if laughing. Those two were no worry.
Sun streamed from the window, warming her on the soft perch. Chittering happily Niabi set to straitening her fur, cleaning it so that her white fawn markings shone brightly against the brown. She had not seen Vittaro in quite a while, but just in case the petite volu wanted to look good. Happy with her work, Niabi curled into a ball in the sunbeam for a short nap as the sun's rays lulled her to sleep.

Niabi crooned sadly, looking out the window. It seemed so long since she had seen Vittaro. Did he hemember her? Did he think of her as she thought of him?A sorrowful chitter escaped her. The fawn colored volu lay her head languidly against the pane of glass.
How she missed him!
