No, not Kirby of immense Tales of Guild administrative fame. Well, actually, him too, but... Kirby the SERIES.

This message paid for by Nintendo, Kirby, KirbyVolt and sponsors like you.

No, seriously though... I'd never even heard of Kirby until Smash Bros, didn't think I'd like the gameplay after I played that one SNES one... Well, it's friggin' awesome. Thanks, KV!

Well, since his creator left (Masahiro Sakurai), his games haven't been that great. Amazing Mirror wash actually developed by another company and then they worked with HAL a bit before publishing...

Though games to stay away from:
-Dreamland 3 (Only play it if you like Dark Matter)
-Kirby 64 (Exact same reason as upper)

Both games didn't have Kirby's creator work on them when he was still with HAL. However, it is rumored, and heavily hinted at that Sakurai helped with the development of Meteos...

So, my name is a walking billboard for: <(~^_^~)>

(Kirby emocons now! RAWR) (My mouse cursor is Kirby, =D)

All I know is, costumes are fun and Mirror's costumes rock.

Kirby swallows...Honestly, who didn't see that one coming? mrgreen

Kirby's kind of cool, but what's his name didn't do Kirby 64? Now don't go bashing THAT game down cause I thought it was fun. Blending abilities is very cool, that and having a friend was also pretty neat.

But still, cool series. So what's your favorite ability to use in Kirby super star? Plasma Kirby owns all. No seriously, it's the best ability to use.

I'd use either Sword Kirby (love the sword, slash and dice), Mirror Kirby has absolute defense when guarding and has a continues attack or Ninja Kirby (like the when holding down the attack when close range).

Plasma Kirby in a nut shell. You can throw usless darts at the enemy, but if you run around a lot, you'll charge up that attack. Example

You can throw darts
Then you can throw a bold of plasma
Then the most awsome efect, you can throw a DBZ styled ball.

You don't have to run around in a circle in order to charge up either, if you hold guard, then press the D-pad multiple times, it'll charge up, and if there are enemies nearby, and they touch you, they'll die. So it's easier to play with that ability.

I don't like charging up and don't want to stay in the same area to long and just advance.

Actually....

-Hoshi no Kaabii (Kirby's Dreamland), 1992 gameboy

-Hoshi no Kaabii: Fountain of Dreams (Kirby's Adventure), 1993 Nintendo/Famicom

-Hoshi no Kaabii no Pinball (Kirby's Pinball Land), 1993 Gameboy

-Hoshi no Kabbi 2 (Kirby's Dreamland 2), 1995 Gameboy

-Kaabii Golf (Kirby's Dreamcourse), 95 Super Famicom/Super Nintendo

-(Kirby's Blockball (The HAL japanese site didn't have it, O_o)), 96 Gameboy

-Hoshi no Kaabii Supa Deluxe (Kirby Super Star), 96 SNES/SFC

-Kaabii no Kirra Kizu (Kirby's Star Stacker), 97 gameboy

-Hoshi no Kaabii 3 (Kirby's Dreamland 3), 97 SNES/SFC

-Kaabii no Kirra Kizu (Kirby's Star Stacker/Super Star Stacker), 97 SFC... US version not made/unreleased

-Hoshi no Kaabii 64 (Kirby 64), 2000 N64

-"Kirby's Air Ride", a game that was in development, but was scratched at the last minute. It was going to be for the N64, but they cancelled the project

-(Kirby Tilt'n'Tumble, also not listed on HAL's site, O_o), 2001 Gameboy Color

-Hoshi no Kaabii: Fountain of Dreams DX (Kirby: Nightmare in Dreamland), 2002 Gameboy Advance

-Kaabii no Air Ride (Kirby Air Ride), 2003 Gamecube (This is rumored to be an expansion of the originally cancelled project, no one's been able to confirm the rumors, but it would make sense)

-Hoshi no Kaabii: Kagami no Daimeikyuu (Kirby and the Amazing Mirror), 2004 Gameboy Advance

-Touch! Kaabii (Kirby Canvas Curse), 2005 Nintendo DS

There's also screens going around of a platformer Gamecube game... hopefully it'll be released and not cancelled because of the Revolution's upbringing.

You'll also notice, since the anime, they've been using a different logo for the games. As well, since Fountain DX, every US Kirby game has Kirby in a "I'M TOUGH" position/expression.

I like the Japanese covers better because they're more cute and heart warming.

I liked it too. Though most didn't...

It might have been better if Sakurai had helped with it. REMOTE CONTROLLED PITCH!!
