Can you remeber which song made you a country music fan? I think mine was Can't win for losing you. Or the Chair. But these were the ones that got me started how 'bout you?

The first country song I actually remember is either Boot Scootin' Boogie or some song I heard on the radio a long, long time ago, with a chorus that ended with "either we were meant to be/or that girl's been spyin' on me". I don't remember which of the two I heard first.

The first song I remember hearing was Tim McGraw's "Don't Take the Girl" and it really made me a coutry fan. Too bad Tim's new music isn't more like it.

It was too long ago for me to remember.
I'm pretty sure it was by either Reba or Alabama, though.
*pauses* Maybe it was TLCASAP.

Except for Live Like You Are Dying I shut his newer stuff off of ignore it. I should add that I don't mean that in a snotty way. I, personally, just don't enjoy it.

I grew up listening to country music, from infancy so I really don't remember... sweatdrop *Thinks the old-timers is kicking in.* Was probably something by Glen Campbell, Meryl Haggard, or whatever was popular in 69 or 70... eek

I think the first song I heard was "Rose Colored Glasses" by John Conlee. My grandmother had me listening to her tape, and I fell in love with the sound, but I was too young to really acknowledge it as "music"... probably no older than 7. I'd say my first favorite country song was "Bing Bang Boom" by Highway 101.

Yeah, I barely remember what first got me into country music. I think it was Boot Scootin' Boogie, but I'm not quite sure. Last year, my best friend was sitting around listening to Shania Twain's Come On Over CD and really got me into Country more. I'm not entirely sure, though. I've been listening to country on and off since I was eight.
