I know... You don't want to read this. I wouldn't want to read this either, but I find it rather mandatory in order to keep this guild in the shape that me and the other founders wish it to keep. After all, it is the members who join that shape it into what it is, and therefore, we must be selective. There's just a few things that I think you all should understand. I'll try to keep it breif...

Over time, punk has lost meaning. To the average person, punk is a nasty thing that simply deals with mindless sex, drug-taking, and vandalism. They play their music loud, they stomp around in their big boots and spike up their hair with their own c**... That's all great and good, but that's simply the surface. Beyond the noise and looks, punks usually turn out to be rather hallow because they really have no idea what punk is really all about. I'm not here to tell you what it is about, but I am here to tell you what it isn't about.
It isn't about destroying, burning, or breaking things. It isn't about ******** and being loud and obnoxious and getting in trouble, and causing trouble. It isn't about cigarettes and alcohol and stolen pharmacy drugs. You can be perfectly PUNK ROCK without having anything to do with any of those things. I know that there may be many true punks that do the things I've listed, but I simply want to make it clear that doing those things isn't what makes them punk; it's something else.
So yeah... I think I've said what needs to be said... *walks off into the sunset*
