Skinhead reggae and ska are almost exactly the same, so I figured it was appropriate for this guild. The main difference is Skinhead reggea is gearded towards skinheads specifically.
Bands that fall under the Skinhead reggae are bands like Symarip and Laurel Aitken.
Anyone else dig?

Asthen reggae**? i've never heard of this genre. what're some bands? Symarip Laurel Aitkens Bad Manners The Charmers Claudette & The Corporation The Creations Sir Harry Derrik Morgan Andy Capp Vincent Gordon & The Dynamics Just to name a few. Pretty much anything on Trojan Records.

YAY! I love tranditional skinheads! I haven't heard too much skinhead reggae, but it is awsome. I hate how people sometimes mistake the trads skins with the Nazi skinheads. Those b*****d boneheads!!!!

I always thought that skinhead reggea was reggea by skinheads for skinheads or just skinhead themed reggea...
anyway it is good!
(though I don't think that Laurel Aitken or Bad Manners are skinhead reggea...they're just great ska)
and I could recommend for you who wanna listen to skinhead reggea to buy the trojan box: Skinhead Reggea

I wish there was some way we could teach people Skinheads ar'nt necessarily racist or even political. I mean I am highly political (leftist) but i don't get that in the way of trad skinhead fashion.
