Have you noticed that almost all of the 'fighting' characters are really young? Ban and Ginji are both 21. Himiko is 16. Jubei is 21 one year older than Kazuki who is only 20. The oldest of the 'young' ones is Sakura as she is 23, even Kagami is young at only 21. And of course MakubeX is only 14.
Don't you think it's strange that these guys are only in their twenties or younger and they're already able to blow up buildings and go 'meh' when the subject of killing someone comes up?
Hishiki and Fudou are middle ages to maybe 35-45 years old, and they both get their buts kicked on several occasions. Akabane's age is a mystery so I can't really comment on him.

Yeah...most of them are young but super strong maybe because of the bloodline they have. Ban comes from family of witches so does Himiko, ofcourse Ginji is from the myterious Infinite fortress. Kazuki fuchoin clan and Jubei from kakei family.

What Ginji said. I mean Ban who knows what his life was like as a kid. Ginji and the rest from Infinity Fortress had to be strong to survive.

Ban's ancestor and parents are witches so he inherited the power like Evil Eye. Jubei is from Kakei Family and Kazuki is from Fuchion very rich in tradition and inherited their clan styles. Ginji is related to the Babylon city, the way he's much more stronger in the Infinite Fortress.

I agree and i dn't think its that bad I mean we seen fighters who are like from 12-16, such as Ichigo from bleach, the boys from Gundam Wings, or any Gundam for the matter, which is usually the average. Having anyone in the 20's is prty good.

GetBackers are 20-22 years old. ---> I say that this is something new for those who've watched many other anime's wherein the main characters and most others are aged from preteen to teen.

some anime now have main-characters that are kids. One Piece, Naruto and Yugioh for example but GB is diff. most characters are adolecent people, around age 19-22.
