Well, this isn't much enthusiastic. Maybe if I post it'll...er, encourage them. Or something of the kind.
Anyway. I'm Kattanie, though anyone that refers to me as such will be tortured in the most grotesquely painful way I can think of, and I can think of lots and lots, because I am RUSSIAN. Fah! I moved to here from...eh, eh, can you think of it? RUSSIA! :0 Anyway, you just found out about my heritage, and you may call me Kat; Hey, you!; etc. etc. Just not Kattanie.
I am the VICE CAPTAIN of this guild. I have the rights to delete threads, delete members, all that lovely power. Hahahaha!! I like forensic science and vampires, and Russia. I also like food.
If you misspell something or make a grammatical error, I'll also jump on you to fix it. I'm not a very friendly girl. Get used to it. Bah. As a side note, Liz usually makes my posts friendlier. This one, though, is yet unadulterated.
Nah, just kidding. Fooled you all, didn't I. Bet you thought I was nasty. Well, really, I'm nice and friendly like all the other Mods so you can just ignore all the mean stuff above. By the way, this post has definitely not been edited by Liz

Rayalynn Deri Dentin well thats just the full name I go by on Gaia. Most just call me Ray and or Mouse. The people at home call me Carolyn, but I'll pretty much answer to anything except CC... don't ask, I just don't answer to it. I'm no english major, but I get by, feel free to correct and criticise my writing and posts, I take it willingly.
I'm normally nice and sweet, but often spacy so feel free to just slap me upside the head now and again to wake me up. Anyways I hope to get to know all of you a bit better.

Hello all!

No, seriously!
Names, in order of preference, are as follows: Dux, Ducky, RD, and/or Fern. I used to role play a lot, particularly medieval/fantasy themed plots. I met my fiance role playing on a Lord of the Rings forum sweatdrop
I'm kooky and weird, with a large spontaneity chip implanted well and truly in my central processor. Don't expect me always to make sense, but if you don't understand, don't be afraid to ask.
My grammar and spelling, despite my obsessing over it to the point that I will continuously re-edit a body of text, isn't going to be as spectacular as the rest of you seem to desire from other guild members. But, but, but! I have an excuse! I suffer from Aspergers Syndrome, a high functioning form of Autism. I have a very high above average IQ but it's not always obvious, and my spelling, grammar and reasoning can often be a little out of whack. Don't beat me up about it, just give me a gentle nudge. Also expect me to be barbequeing anyone who flames a Dyslexic for poor spelling and grammar. I have NO patience with people like that. It's like screaming at a blind person for bumping into you.
I notice we have no role plays yet. Or at least, I seem to be observing that. Can I be directed to them? Or is the guild very very new?

However, it is with greatest sincerity that I approach you with the fact that it was not my intention to insult or otherwise inconvenience or discomfort anyone with my personality or ways or habits, or, in this case, pet peeves.

No offence, but I have a nasty distaste for Grammer Nazis... But, eh! Whaddya gonna do? Here's the entry for Roleplaying on Gaia from my own Hitchhiker's Guide to Gaia ( See my Journal ) : Quote: It is considered a very entertaining aspect in the world of Gaia. You can be what you want, do what you want, and eat what you want, without having to break the law. Unfortunately, with Roleplaying comes rules of the host Roleplayer. They usually state that there will be no Godmodding, which basically means that it is not allowed to randomly kill other characters run by other people left and right, no automatic hits since the other roleplayer might not agree with being knocked out, and most importantly, staying with the laws of physics allotted within the RP, which will be stated there.
There are certain Roleplayer types you should be notified about:
The nOOb: Usually a strange individual, who you can barely understand a word they type, since they type in a language called leet ( spelled 1337 in their tongue ) and have a bad habit of breaking the rules constantly.
The literate: An individual who may use Word Processor to write his/her posts, then edits it whenever he/she sees fit due to the confusion with apostrophes turning into strange symbols on them. They can vary from one-liners to the large paragraph folk.
The newbie: A person who is new to the whole roleplay. Never always a nOOb, and never always a literate.
The Grammar/Spelling Nazi: We at the guide consider these people to be very poor with their lives and have nothing better to do than sit around, act all high and mighty that they are more literate than everyone else, and constantly correct people on spelling, punctuation, and grammar in an unadvisable way.

Don't worry, she generally doesn't actually try and correct anyone (well except for me xp ); she just gets pissed when people do things wrong. I think the term I gave her a while ago is much more suitable: Le RP Snob.

Yeah, usually I'll just edit out spelling mistakes without even leaving a nice little edit message. I just like being mean to Liz and making sure everyone knows that she made spelling errors in her posts : P

Hey everyone!
I'm Bunneh, if you want something easy to call me. In RPs, I usually just go by character names, as that's easier.
As far as interests go, I'm big into psychology and history. I'm good and fairly interested in science, but not to the extent that I'd want to do it as a career. I'm writing several stories, and eventually want to be a published author. That said, I don't consider myself that great. While I have written some stories, I usually revise each chapter up to five times before posting it anywhere, and I still don't like it. So I'm still working on my writing skills (and am slowly getting better - I read one of my old stories the other day. Ick.).
I play the drums. I'm not really into any sports, but I used to fence for about five years. I currently live in New Orleans, and have been living here since Katrina. Before that, I lived in Houston, Texas for six years (...and loved it! I'm a Texas boy at heart.). Before that I lived in Michigan. Before that, Puerto Rico. Before that, Mexico. Before that, Japan. I'm about to move to North Carolina during the summer (or, my family is. See next sentence). During the summers, I work a job in New Mexico at a Boy Scout camp.
So... that's me in a nutshell.

Hello I am Alex or Alexi, whichever you perfer. I am Irish and I'm from California, so not only am I drunk but I'm weird to boot. I love writing, roleplaying, reading and shooting things with my giant english bazooka of doom!!!!
No, seriously, I keep it in my closet.
