Hi there! This is the GGWG's current home for discussing Guilds within Guild Wars. This post is a bit long, so just skip down to the section that describes you to save time wink
Looking for a guild?
Great! People from gaia have taken the time to outline the main points about their guild in this thread. Read them! Find one--or many!-- that you like that are recruiting and PM the post author or follow up with directions that are given in the post for more information! I know it can seem daunting to read through so many descriptions, but finding a guild you fit in with can make the game much more enjoyable. But please don't start another thread soliciting invitations. Respect that people have taken the time to post information already and read what they have to say here. Good luck searching!
Recruiting for your guild?
This is the place to do it! Here are some guildlines:
* Each guild is permitted one post, and one post only. "This means that if you can scroll through the list of Guilds and you find your guild already posted. DO NOT POST ANOTHER LINK." -Houshou
* Include information that will help people looking for a guild! Do you focus on PvE or PvP? In an alliance? Do you have a link where interested people can go for more information? If you want people to join, be sure you mention how they should go about doing it!
Not recruiting, but looking to talk about your guild?
That's okay too! Your guild does not have to be looking for more members in order for you to share it here. We like to hear about everyone whee
Want to post, but someone else in your guild beat you to it?
This one is tricky. If you feel like the post describing your guild is missing some important information/out of date, I would suggest first trying to contact the person who made the post. If they have left the guild or for some reason are unable to respond within a reasonable amount of time, PM me(chiuna) any additions you would like made to their post and I will edit them in for you. If I have edited a post you made at the request of one of your guildmates and you return and see it, you are of course allowed to re-edit your post.

This is *not* the place for that. If you have questions related to a guild, PM the person who made the post. If you have a story to tell, share it in either the Talk about anything! thread, or a new thread if the story merits discussion.

General: We're a more PvE-oriented guild, with a few members who are known for their PvP-prowess. We're starting to get more into team-PvP, and hopefully soon, GvG. We also love to hang around, talk, and have fun. We're very friendly and have no problem giving out a helping hand. Just don't piss Sorn Darksoul off, he's the guild...well, you know.
Thoughts on Factions: We're not too sure about which path to follow, that being the Kurzicks or the Luxons, but we're having a vote on our Forum some time that will hopefully get everyone to finally choose a side. On Alliances, it's up to Xiang on what the guild is going to do.

About us: Well, its just a bunch of people from my school really (all in my year level). I'm one of the only two girls in there, I'm friends with half of the members, the other half I'm just aware of.
Joining Us:I don't think we're accepting any outside invitations; like I said, my guild is just comprised of people we actually know in real life.
Benefits: We're a reasonably close group I guess, I think we're getting into the GvG battles now, though I hate PvP'ing 'coz I'm really bad at it (I think it's the Necro-ness, I always get attacked).
