Ieva wrote busily, happy that her writer's block had finally vanished. The aspiring novelist attributed it to her new 'muse'; a little red dragon plushie that she had named Aekia. It did have a special feel about it, although that might just have been Ieva's overactive imagination.

After a night of busy writing, Ieva fell asleep at her desk. The next morning when she awoke, she found herself staring into a pair of large golden eyes. Needless to say, she leapt backwards with a startled 'Gyaaa!', tripping over her chair in the process and landing in a tangled heap on the floor. Rubbing her newly bruised head, she looked up quickly when she heard a giggle. Sitting on her desk was what had obviously once been her plushie, but now had turned into a small dragon! "Uh...hi?" she said, staring with a mixture of awe, confusement, and absolute joy. In response, the dragon squeaked happily and jumped down off the desk, landing in her lap and rubbing her head against the startled Ieva's chest. "Sooo...I guess your name is still Aekia, so that's what I'll call you. I'm gonna have to go back to that store and ask about this..." Ieva rubbed her head some more as Aekia continued her happy squeaks.
