I want at least one Gene doll in my collection, and a few Madame Alexander dolls.

Number of Dolls in your collection:Around 20 now. I've recently drastically downsized and sold off most of my collections How many years have you collected dolls?I've been collecting since 1995. How many years have you collected dolls? I got started early since my mother and older sister collect dolls.
Favourite Doll: My Effenbee 'Sleeping Beauty' doll would have to be my favorite. She's just so pretty. heart
Favourite Doll manufacturer: I guess the manufacturers with dolls that I consistenly like are Madame Alexander, Effenbee, Bandai, and the maker of the Nancy Ann/Story book dolls.
Comments: I am also a major fan of Sanrio.

How many years have you collected dolls? Two years since I've gotten back into them, but when I was younger I had a lot.. Favourite Doll: Hard to decide... Favourite Doll Shopping location: Any sort of toy store. KB Toyworks merits some lovely unexpected finds, as do Celebrations! party stores.

Comments: Well, I don't so much as collect dolls as My Little Ponies. I also have a few Bratz dolls and Christmas edition Barbies lying around, but I focus on collecting the ponies. A cascade of them falls out whenever I open my closet doors.

Anyway, I quite like to read, I've currently become re-addicted to Gaia as of late, and have fulfilled a goal of mine - the monocle. I have lusted after than monocle for days, and then spent time hoarding extra cash to make sure I wasn't flat broke after I bought it.

Favourite Doll: I love Tyler, Pullips and lots of other Asian dolls, but don't have any at the moment
Favourite Doll manufacturer: I'm a huge Tonner fan
Comments: I started collecting Gene dolls in 95 and had almost the whole collection until a few years ago. I started slowly selling them off due to money issues and loss of interest and started replacing them with Tylers, Butterfly Ring, and Alex. Those, too, were sold eventually. Now I only own one Gene, which was the last gift my grandmother bought for me before she passed away. After I graduate school and start earning the big bucks, I'm planning on getting back a lot of the dolls I had and starting a whole new collection.

Comments: Doll collecting for me is a random thing. If I see a pretty doll that I like and is not too expensive, I buy it. Those ball-jointed dolls are ridiculously priced, in my honest opinion.
