Q: What is the point of this guild?
A: We gather Gaia members who share the interest of doll collecting. Here we discuss our doll experience, provide tips and advices and show others our doll collection heart

Q: Do I have to pay to enter this guild?
A: There is an entrance fee of 1g to enter in the guild.

Q: Why do I have to pay the 1g?
A: It isn't much, but we hope that if we save up enough, we can offer prizes when we offer contests in this guild. We also welcome donations although it is not neccessary. sweatdrop

Q: Can I talk about other toy collections other than dolls?
A: Although the main focus is on dolls, we also have a thread (post) about other collection items. Feel free to start a new thread if you think that your collection item (example: GI Joe's, Lego, etc..) deserves a thread just for it.

Q: Do I have to actually own a doll to join the guild?
A: No, you don't have to actually own a doll or know anything about dolls. This guild is to teach members more about dolls starting from the basics to advance.

Q: How do I quit this Guild?
A: The only way to quit this guild is to be "banned" by the captain or the crew members. Please PM the captain if you would like to quit. You will receive a PM saying that you have been "banned" from the guild" afterwards.

Q: How do I become a crew member?
A: Crew members are appointed by me or other current crew members. We see who is active and responsible, and we will PM them, inviting them to join as crew members.

Q: Can I submit my own banners for this guild?
A: Of course! We would love to include your creative banners for this guild! Please PM melonsoda (me) a link to your picture first.

A: Of course, thank you for sharing your collection with us, we would love to see them! whee

Q: Where can we host the images if we want to post on the forum?
A: So far, I only know one image host, and that's ImageShack. But I'm pretty sure there are other free ones... sweatdrop

Q: Are we allowed to post new threads in this guild?
A: You're more than welcome to post new threads. I would recommend keeping it related to toys, dolls & hobby collection related though 3nodding

Q: Are we allowed to post threads about trading, buying/selling?
A: I think it's against Gaia rules, only because there is a risk of fraud or lost of goods/money. However, I'm trying to think of solutions around it to allow members to buy/sell/trade their items and have the security of doing so. Will come up with a better idea for this soon... <-- brainstorming ideas

You can host your pictures at ImageShack or other image hosting facilities. If you have problems and require assistance in posting the pictures, just feel free to ask biggrin

I don't think Gaia allows it, probably because they are afraid of the risks involved. Incase anything goes wrong, they won't be held accountable to it since it's involving around real money/items... I guess in a way, it's a safety measures, to protect people from losing real money...

I'm trying to think of alternative ways to work around this, because I understand that doll collectors may want to buy/sell/trade their collection... but also trade only if it is safe to do so...

I couldn't find that in the rules or Q&A but I thought I'd ask just incase. Was in a guild where you got banned for making any new threads, so uh yeah... sweatdrop
