FE9 was the first game of a series I liked to disappointment me. The main boss was easier than throwing an egg at a huge wall at point-blank range and the "Crimean War" really happened in real life history. I'm thinking they could've put alittle more thought into this.
Other than this, there was enough decent humor and cute characters for me to keep this game and unlock some other goodies using FE's 7 and 8.

I liked FE9 better than 8 (Not as much as 7, though). I loved the characters, even if some the supports were awful.
As for the Crimean war, Crimea is a peninsula in the Ukraine, I believe. I think the real war was quite different than the Fire Emblem one (though I don't know for sure). But hey, there were/are such places as Bern, Ostia, Etruria, and Lycia too.
