Dragon Wings
I wish that I had Dragon wings, To fly above most normal things, I'd sing the song the dragon sings, If I could fly on Dragon wings.
On spindly wings of leather and fire, I'd soar through the night, eternally higher, Listening to the flames all conspire, Never to sorrow, never to tire.
Cruel lies, my soul could not touch, I'd never care for the tales of such, Never would loves pain, my heart clutch, And the fires of grief would not sting much.
On Dragon wings, if there are such things, I'd sing the song the dragon sings, Of pain and love and other things, If I could fly on dragon wings

Deep within my secret heart, I watch as my world falls apart Listlessly, I wonder why it does not topple earth and sky
Yeah, This is just like a tiny little poem. I considered making it longer, then decided it could stand alone.

Hm. I like your poems. Dragon Wings could use a bit of work, but it's great for the most part. Sorry I didn't bother to read your story. If you went through and fixed all the little chinese symbol things, I would.

Vibrant Dream - my sonnet!
Life is an eternal vibrant dream, And at this moment I am in slumber And when I wake, I'll only remember That nothing is ever quite what it seems. In this dream theres a lesson for us all, For in the world of our future waking, We build and it is ourselves we're making; We add pieces bit by bit into the soul.
And for now, I'll just enjoy the dreaming And savor all it's sweetest melodies- All of my problems can be overcome. It's a pity lifes so fast and fleeting, But such a relief that love comes free; I'll remember this dream a happy one.

On the poem Dragon Wings: I liked the sort of 'old lore' feel that it had with the rhyming scheme and the rhythm. Spiffy.

The Pit
I found a pit, a damp, dank, spacious void, Eternally deep and filled with dark things, And all that I loved and all I enjoyed Here were meaningless, as were my dreams. I found a darkness; a place filled with death At once acting as both graveyard and morgue I realized then that there was nothing left- Nothing except for the hate I abhorred. Hating the hatred, loving the pain, Dying in my soul, I'm hollow inside. There's no more to lose, no more to gain Dry are my eyes - my tears have been cried.
I left the pit, then realized with a start The void I'd found was my black withered heart.

Fairy Tale Princess
Am I in a fairytale? A fantasy wonderland? Am I in a storybook, in some small child's hand? Am I in some faraway place and time left far behind? Am I a creation of fiction, existing only in the mind?
No, I'm not in fairy tale, my every movement planed. My world is far from perfect, unlike some wonderland. All my troubles can't be overcome with simply true love's kiss. My life is not a fairy tale, and I am sure of this.
No happily ever after for me, There is not any ending Time is a road I travel, and the future just keeps bending Not to say I won't be happy - I may achieve that goal But all emotion gained is fleeting, and not an ending at all.
I wish I were a princess, locked up in a tall tower, Waiting for prince charming, and then the wedding shower But alas, life is no fairy tale, no guaranteed rescues here I'll just have to fare on my own, and do my best I fear.
I am no fairy tale princess - but at least, I have you Without you, my prince charming, I don't know what I'd do You did not come to rescue me and ride off into the sunset But you can help me through, so perhaps there is hope yet.

I love this. The writing is good, but just the idea and point behind it is great to me. ^-^ Love it love it love it. 4laugh

Just messin' 'round... (It's nothing good or anything... maybe I'll expand on it later...)Can you see the distant stars? Shinning on those pearly shores? I dream of them in the darkest night And yet they still are out of sight
