I have FF8 on pc, i'm currently fighting Raijin and Fujin in balamb in disk 2. But whenever fujin uses "zan", right before her weapon makes contact with my team, the game crashes and returns to the desktop. I don't get any error message so i don't know whats wrong with it. I've tried to prevent fujin from using zan by casting sleep on her, or hoping that she'll use a different attack but it doesn't last long xp so, plz help, it there a way to fix this? btw, i'm using win 2000, so its not the win xp running old game problem.

Maybe your desktop can't run those type of disc, or maybe you might have to clean the disc. Maybe also you might have to much data on your desktop and you might have to clean up your desk top to make room for more data.

Well... That's really weird, I would suggest getting stronger, junctioning Sleep to your weapons, and keep trying till you defeat them without being attacked by Fujin using Zan, if I'm not sure you are close to that area with Hockey "Monsters" right? Then keep trainning there, you will win EXP really fast.

whoa..that sucks...id try cleaning your desktop like she said then defragging it..to do those, go to start..programs...accessories...system tools..then they are under system tools, hope it helps..but if not, try what he said

Hmm ... this seems like more of a technical support problem and although I'm not the best person to ask about Win2000 OS, my recommendation is to follow wasien_diety's advice. He probably knows best. 3nodding

If it turns out your computer isn't the problem, find a close game store that will resurface your disks. The one here is called CGX, I know GameStop can't do it. But it rarely costs more than $5 to get it done. Good luck!

if all else fails try downgrading to 98, that may work, or if you really need to, use a save game ediotr to pass that battle, these are both worst case senarios though.

um....i see this is still here......i thought it was long gone, xp anyway, um.....i've solved the problem.... just lv up a bit by doin some side quests and went back to fight, luckily i won before fujin even used zan so yeah....solved....thanks people blaugh
