I think I'll slow down your computers with a few of my paintings.

Please don't steal! I have the orriginals and stealing isn't nice!

Please be a critic.[a nice critic] I hear lots of people saying how great it is and they wish that they could draw but I want advice. (please&thanks)

Those are really good. I don't quite get the third one, but the 2nd and th are really nice, and I like the 1st and 5th.

The 1st has a Wonderland quality to it. The detail is amazing. I kept noticing new bits the longer I looked at it.

Definitely keep doing what you're doing, especially with the paints. I can see the flower, for instance, being fairly commercial.

Thanks for sharing!

Oh wow, the linework is really nice! I especially like the soft lines on the fifth piece.

Heres a bit of a critique....
Sorry in advance for the wordiness. And don't get scared because of how long it is; I think you're art is great.

1st picture: Don't be afraid to be even more inconsistent with your shading. (Example) To make the branch at the top jump out at the eye, make the background darker. It would also give the eye somewhere to go; because it would force the eye downwards to all the nice symbols at the bottom of the picture. Grey washes might look nice; but by then the issue becomes more stylisitc; sometimes black and white is better.

2nd picture: The tree assimilates too easily with the background... build up the dark sky right to the edge of the tree for it to stand out at the eye more.

3rd picture: The third one I love; if I would have done anything more, it would just be playing with contrast to make things stand out more. I'm all about that kind of stuff cool *is smug* stare

4th picture: To compliment the thick stem of the plant, I would've used thick, heavy lines that also incorporated perspective; which wouldl give the piece an even more moveable energy. The stem gets bigger as it comes closer to the eye, except for the last segment. If you were trying to accomplish foreshortening, then you would make it thicker than the last segment. Nice colours!

5th picture: I love... lines, shapes, space is all repeated generously; the yellow highlights are great; the colours are really dynamic. If you wanted to show off the great foreground more, you could make the backround much darker, so the tone of the piece would be spaced evenly, and you wouldn't need to worry about the important slew of colours at the bottom.

6th picture: I'm not really good at critiquing abstract; so I don't know what to say crying ... I love it when breaks are incorporated into pictures.

Overall, you're very talented; I wish I was half as imaginitive as you are... I hope I didn't offend you with anything, if I did, I am sorry. Keep up the amazing stuff. biggrin

Oh those are certainly nice. You've developed your own style and I like that. I espcially like the one with the tree and the blue background.
