The Transfiguration classroom is the same as it always has been. There are three rows of five, three person desks. In front of the classroom is the teacher's desk, it has a cat bed on it where her calico kitten, named Callie sits during classes and watches the students. The professor usually sits on the desk instead of behind the desk.
Jesicka doesn't mind if the students call her by her first name but when in the presence of other staff members, she prefers Professor Taylor. Jesicka will walk around the room, usually in the front, she'll make jokes and relate to the students, but she has earned their respect. Professor Taylor also assigns work depending on years, the higher the year, the harder the work. She tries not favor the Gryffindors since she is their Head of House, but sometimes she can't help it. She (Jesicka) is just like Professor McGongall in the since that they both have a soft spot for Quidditch.

*Jesicka walked into her room, it right before lunch ended. She wanted to get everything ready, for when her first years came. She wasn't sure of what exactly she was going to teach them, or at least on their first day. She just wanted to be given some type of advice. She then was remembering her first day as a first year, when she walked into the same room, where McGongall was standing infront of them. She then remembered that one of the teachers was an animagus, she thought that it would be a nice presentation on the first day. She rushed out, to look for Professor Dahl, she knew that he would most likely be in the Teacher's Lounge. It wasn't that much longer till the first years would arrive.*

*Jesicka walked into her classroom after the bell rang, she was waiting for the first years to show up and for Nik to come back from his so called "date" Christy. She sat on her desk just waiting for people to show up. She had her hair up in a messy bun, and she was wearing a set deep red robes.*

*Nik rushed into Jesicka's classroom, and he looked like he must have ran up all the six flights of stairs. He was somewhat sweaty but he still looked very good.*
"I'm so sorry Jes for being late. Wait there is no students. This isn't a set up for me, is it?"
*Jes smiled at Nik, she shook her head no.*
"No, Nik, it isn't a set up for you, I do hope that you enjoyed your date with Christy though. The first years just got lost probably."

Adora walked into class she was rather lost, she got caught on a few flights of stairs, and didn't understand where she was, she followed a few other students to the Transfiguration room and she sat down, she looked up at the two professors. "There's two of them?" She asked some one who was next to her and they shrugged. "Hmm..." She shrugged and then set her bag down.

Skyla made her way to her first transfiguration class. She'd heard of the times that people got stuck in certain forms, or a boy who couldn't turn his cup back into a rat, and was banned from school. This worried her, so she wasn't sure what was to happen next.

*Jesicka looked around the classroom and noticed that mostly all the first years had arrived. She then stood in front of the class and began to talk.*
"Good Afternoon, I am Professor Taylor, and I will be your teacher for this year on the subject Transfiguration. Transfiguration is some of the most complex and dangerous magic you will learn at Hogwarts. Don't be scared but don't become too cocky either."
*She then motioned over to the other Professor.*
"This is Professor Dahl, he teaches Astronomy. He is also an animagus, can anyone tell me what an animagus or animagi are?"
*She waited for an answer.*

Adora had no idea what this Animagus was. She looked around for other's to answer.

Skyla raised her hand. "I saw a muggle show about the Animorphus's and there was this cute guy who turned into an eagle! And they were able to do it when they wanted to!" She very proud of herself for answering.

*Jesicke was quite suprised that any of the first years knew the answer. She nodded and then checked her rooster of names. She then looked back at the little girl.*
"Skyla Nott, correct? Plus 5 points to Hufflepuff. Now an animagus retains his or her clothing, spectacles, and so on throughout the transformation, disappearing when the Animagus is in animal shape but reappearing when human shape is resumed. Also an animagus appears to have some ability to communicate with true animals, although it is not known whether an Animagus must be in Animagus form to do so. Animagus have to register with the Ministry of Magic, they have to give their name, what animal they turn into, and any certain markings. Now Nik could you please show us your markings and what animal you are?"
*Nik stepped forward and he transformed into a dog right in front of the class. He looked like a german shepard but he did have dark red ears just like his hair. He then sat.*
"Now as you can see, Nik has kept a part of his human characteristics. He has the dark red hair and that lead into him having dark red ears. Some like the Headmistress, she has those wonderful spectacles and when she turns into her animagus, she retains her spectacles that also show in both forms. Now why isn't anyone writing this all down?"
*Jes put her hands on her hips, and just looked at the class.*

Skyla's eyes widened. "Five points?!" She was so pleased that she knew anything about this subject, living in a Muggle community, and only hearing the word Animagus over the winter when she stayed at the shop with her mother. Though when she asked about it her daddy kind of went silent.
Adora smiled as the man turned into a dog, it scared her at first, but then she was happy to see it. She heard the comment about writing things down and she pulled out her quill and parchement. "Man turns into dog, and back into human, at will" She scrawled this out with not much skill. She was never a good note taker. She then raised her hand. "Does that mean he's a were wolf? Or is there a difference?" She looked up, although she then pulled her hand down remembering the comment about the Headmistress being a cat. "Never mind!" She said quickly.
((Technically they teach about Animagus in the like end of the third, or was it second year, in DATDA... xP But yeah!))
