"i'm two quarters and a heart down" from dance, dance.
he wrote those lyrics cuz he was at his prom and he was depressed and wanted to call somebody, but he didn't have the 50 cents that he needed. therefore, i'm two quarters and a heard down. the same thing happened to me at a school dance. i feel for him. i had a similar case like his cry le sigh.

I love that whole poem after 'Get busy living or get Busy dying' (i think I did that wrong but whatever)
