UP Crew UP Crew is a website that shall be created in mid-July, hopefully being hosted by Dream Host. It, as of my current plans, will have two sections: UP Crew Comics, and UP Crew Creations.
UP Crew Comics will be mainly dedicated to sprite comics. Hopefully, I will be able to start a Shockwave or Flash comic as well. This would not come until I see some positive feedback on the current comics, and I understand Action Script more efficiently. Also housed within this section will be custom sprites that I have either used in my sprite comics, or ones that I just felt like making. I encourage all to submit their custom and edited sprites to the site. I will then post them on the site, proper credit being given.
UP Crew Creations will be primarily focused on game development. Once I learn Ruby or a similar language, I will start working on a project devoted to making the best possible game development program. Its name shall be kept a secret until that time. I will also host resources, tutorials, and games made by myself and any others who wish to add to the site's content.
Tying these two websites together will be a forum powered by phpBB or SMF. the forum, naturally, will have separate sections for each afore-mentioned site, but will also include many other things such as: Community Events, Community Projects, Community Contests, Role-Playing, Mass Role-Playing, Video/Computer Game Discussion, Hangouts, and more to come as popularity increases. The forums will also include several hand-made emoticons.
I invite all to join the website (once it has been formed) and contribute to its growth. All downloads from our site will most likely be powered by Olate Download. So, enjoy yourself at UP Crew. A link to the site will be posted once it has been created.
Everything on any part of the site will be completely free of charge (even the game development program). Of course, if you choose to buy anything from the store section of the website (powered by Cafe Press), it will cost a reasonable price, part of which goes to help UP Crew stay afloat.
((Updates, banners, and other random things will come as time progresses.))

This is the symbol of UP Crew. As of yet, It is not complete, because I have not decided on what colors to use, although the shading seen is correct.
These are the awards for any and all contests. These are used in the "Contest Awards" section of the site. Their respective winners are shown next to them.
Bronze, Silver Gold, Platinum/Special
These are displayed below a user's rank in the forums to show that they have won an award of the respective level. When the site is up, placing the mouse over an award will make a little box appear showing in what contest that award was won.~~~~~<6-5-06> URL information This is just a small, text-only update. I have checked the internet and it seems that, although "upcrew.com" has been taken, "upcrew.net" hasn't! I didn't bother to check "upcrew.org", because the site isn't really going to be an organization, and that doesn't accurately portray the goals and atmosphere of the site.~~~~~<6-6-06> Site Signature Banner released
This is a banner that anyone can put in their signatures on any forum. As of now, the site's mini banner and logo will look similar to this, although nothing is certain as of yet. Show your support for this website! Here is the forum code:

After taking nearly 2 months to make a decision, the board at UConn (where I will be working) and Human Resources (since I am only 16) guarunteed my job. I got a call today, saying that my application was accepted. I will start work on Friday (July 7th). The first day will be orientation and an interview. Then, the following Monday (July 10th) I will really start work. I get $9/hour, which, for a first job, is very nice. The website will now have funds (the job pays every other week), meaning that its creation draws nigh.~~~~~<7-9-06> Site Forum open
The forum for the site is functional! Go to [REMOVED]. Please try to stay in the "Chatter" section as none of the forums have any form of rules set up as of now. For now, follow Gaia rules. Enjoy!~~~~~
