General Info:
WinK uses androgeny to shift from male to female, flirting with either sex freely. Born under the Picsean sign WinK tends to stray towards water animals and water in general. Believed to be a fallen angel (this theory is in the prossess of being disproved, as most fallen angels are no longer innocent and pure, which WinK is - usually described as "naive as an angel" and "ditzy" aside from random cursing). Almost never mean, WinK enjoys reading and surprisingly, power (as well as cooking, heh). The green-eyed owner also loves music and sings often, as well as plays several instruments and encourages his Nereids to do the same if showing apptitude.

Every Christmas, Yule, Hannaka, ::pick a holiday and add it in here::, most little children want toys. Not WinK. What WinK wants is a little more special: a custom Nereid. Currently ((as I'm writing this)) WinK has 62K, and is always amassing more. WinK's quest for a Custom Nereid is the only reason he still HAS this much money ((spending the gold is just too much fun, okay? lol)). So, please, let WinK beg for a Custom Nereid. He hopes he might not even have to wait until Christmas. ^.^

Personality: Motherly, kind, playful, sometimes impish
Mate: Fathom
Children: N/A
Brief History: Mari was WinK's first Nereid and as the eldest feels she has to mother the rest. She used to be a flirt, but after meeting and falling for Fathom she's lost her taste, but continues to croon lyrical phrases into her mates ear. Mari and Fathom were seperated for a while, and during that time Mari stopped talking to Nereids and most humans, and is now trying to master her own voice again. Name: CovetPersonality: sometimes mean, sharp tongued, possesive, extrememly enviousMate: PhyselChildren: N/ABrief History: Covet was the second to WinK's Nereid pool, and envied the love Mari shared with Fathom, and in doing so pushed away many potential mates out of spite, only to find it was hurting her. Brief History: Willful and full of pride Aerin started getting into fights with Covet (see above) soon after she arrived. Soon the two put aside their differences, although they still squabble. As a twin she feels the need to protect her sister who is sometimes too nice. Currently the trouble-maker is trying to woo Ichigo, will it work?-Currently the ONLY Nereid Twins- Name: Dehlia
Personality: slightly naive, sweet, vocal, minxy

Brief History: The daughter of Faye and Angela it's no wonder that Dehlia is a little naive, but she makes up for it with her kindness (which almost boarders on pushy). She sings, having been taught music by her mother, and has a lovely alto voice. Finding the distraught Undine one day, romance blossomed and the blue-eyed Nereid fell in love. Name: Lorilei
Personality: detail oriented, bubbly, calm

Brief History: The newest of WinK's girls Lorilei showed early that she has a keen eye for details and a sharp memory. While she can enjoy a joke and laugh and play most of her time is spent working on puzzles or burried in Science books (as opposed to Mari's poetry), trying to figure out the answers of the world. No mate as of this time ... Name: Maris Sal (Maris for short, scientific name for "sea salt")
Personality: slightly cocky, smart, a flirt, quick-minded

Brief History: The daughter of Physel and Covet, Maris (almost never called Maris Sal) is a quick, but slightly cocky Nereid, nothing like her shy and formal sister, Lillith. Surprisingly, for such a smart girl, Maris is mute. She still manages to get her ideas across, sometimes using physical contact (stop those perverted thoughts!) to get people to understand her. (a.k.a. - Second Pool To The Right)
These pools were found by Mari one day when she was exploring, and after a lot of pushing, she managed to make WinK take a look at them. At first the green-eyed owner was reluctant to take up such a large area. And then his Nereids became more numerous, and he fell in love with them for their beauty and their personalities. They moved in.
*1.
WinK, loving the Nereids, was still wanting in his own comfort. After they moved in he took over the rocky outcrop that branched into the main area and managed to smuggle furniture in for the humans who's Nereids were visiting his own. There's a couch, a chair and a loveseat, all overly-stuffed, very fluffy, and a deep red.

This is the main area where Nereids, if invited, may come in. Usually only the mates of WinK's Nereids are allowed, as his dissaproves of too much noise when he's trying to read, but on the occasion other Nereids are allowed in if given an invitation. No Nereids are allowed in the girl's private pools unless invited specifically by that Nereid.

Because WinK loves his Nereids, and his Nereids love other Nereids, these pools are extra for when he gains another into the family, or when his current Nereids breed. The shells stay in the room with the parent until hatched and old enough to explore on their own and find their own room. These are not to habitated by any other Nereids other than WinK's Harem.

Unless guided, or if you are a regular visitor and know your way around, you should probably not try to navigate your way through the waters as they are very deep sometimes and in areas lined with sharp rocks and can be dangerous. ~@~

General Info:
I’m an English Major at the local community college, planning on going to the local university to get my masters, then probably to another state for my doctorate. I’ve got one job and working on getting a second to help pay for my cell phone bill as well as work on my car (cars can always look nicer, and I know that mine certainly can at least get a better engine). I’ve got quite a few medical problems that sometimes require me to hospitalized, but I hate being pitied for them because pity really does nothing. I love RPing and have done it since I was around 10, and my desire for the English language has only fueled my abilities and capabilities. I’m generally very sweet, but sometimes really shy, until you get to know me, and then I’m an outrageous flirt and tend not to shut up when talking. ^.^;; I love drawing and am currently working on putting up a webcomic ninja … I also love writing. The Girls' Journals
(just so you can hear what they say on the occasion)Mari Fathom has come to stay here! WinK said it was all right! I'm so excited. Showing her around has been so much fun, and she's so smart that she picked up on things a lot faster than I know most would. But that's why I love her, she's beautiful and wonderful and smart ... and of course she blushes when I talk sometimes. I've been thinking about showing her the poetry I've been writing, but I'm afraid to. What if she doesn't like it? Oh, well. I suppose I will sooner or later. Covet empty for now - in breeding pools Angela It's amazing how time passes! All of my new daughters are beautiful, just like the elder ones. I'm certainly happy that Dehlia and Lorilei get along since WinK has taken both of them in. I haven't seen much of the others, even though I would like to. I suppose when it's time I'll get to see them, but it still makes me a little sad. Aerin Oh, it's going wonderful with Ichigo. I really do think she likes me, but it's so hard to say because she's shy. But the other day she hugged me and told me it was nice to see me again. Bah, home has been slightly boring without Covet to yell at. I hope she has fun *snicker* in the Breeding Pools. I envy her, Physel is a total cutie. But in all honesty, Ichigo is more beautiful than any Nereid could ever be. Dehlia Mother and Mother had a new batch of shells, and one of them gets to stay here! I'm so excited! Her name is Lorilei, and she's not much like any of the others. She really likes books and has been bugging WinK with something about Physics. Oh, well. It looks like the line in front of me and Undine is long for the Breeding Pools. But I can wait. If Physel can do it, and she's my age, I can certainly do it too! ... what exactly is 'it' anyway? Lorilei Yes! WinK finally got me the book on Physics! There's a formula I need to look up while I'm studying the heavens. Kate seems to like stars, which is very cool. I wonder if she knows anything I don't that I can learn from her? Oh, well. If not, I'll be sure to find it somewhere else. There aren't that many Nereids interested in Academia. Not like I've met very many, aside from Kate, Ayane and Una outside of the family. Una seems a little self centered. I wonder where she got the idea that we should all worship her? Anyway, I've found this formula, I need to go and mark it on my charts so I don't forget!
