Theirs a lot of Black Sabbath covers out there... most are unknown though, so I'll bring a lot of them up.
The first one for discussion, Black Label Society's cover of Snowblind. It's a chilly and slow version of the song. I thought it was ok, but it's not something I can listen to a whole lot. Anyone else hear it?

When metallica inducted sabbath into the rock and roll hall of fame they played hole in teh sky and iron man. Metallica's version of iron man was pretty kickass.

It was better than Marilyn Manson trying to remake "Ironman"...

I like The Black Label Society cover and the SOAD cover of Snowblind about the same actually... Which is wierd because one slows it down and has it being played with a piano for the most part (BLS), and the other has it sped up to no end (SOAD)!

stratomaster i have a question regarding snowblind, is there no bass line in it??? cause i sure can't hear one. WHAT!? Yes, Geezer has an awesome bass line in it! Listen closer, it blends with the guitars nicely (which Geezer doesn't always do, he usually does a bit of a bass thing on his own but it always sound awesome and always seems to go with the song perfectly) but it's there alrighty.

I just heard an awesome cover by Pride and Glory of "The Wizard". I loved how it was a lot more hardcore than the original. twisted
